June 2026

Disco Elysium dominated this month for me. And that’s not a complaint. Loved every minute of it.

Really fun game! First hour or so went slowly to get used to the game, but then you just enter flow state and do it pratically automatically. I really liked it!

Pretty cool one! I went completely blind, the only thing I knew was that you had to mess with perspectives and stuff with the viewfinder, so everything else was a nice and welcome surprise. Got a bit tiring to the end but still pretty fun overall.

Disco Elysium - The Final Cut

There are those games that you need to force yourself to start because they are so very long and you know they will take over all your free time when you pick them up. And that's exactly what happened to me with Disco Elysium. I can't imagine all the ways you can play through this and see how it affects Harry and Martinaise. And Kim!! The writing, all the VA, the voices in my head, the characters, they all are fantastic and definitely I won't forget them all so soon. Gents, if you have this one in your backlog and have some free time in the next weeks, start it up. If it's your jam, you will definitely love it. Big thanks to fernandopa for the choice on PoP and the push last month to get me started on this!

Just saw your review on PoP, congrats on Disco!!! I guess we’re both lucky that we had it picked last cycle.

The only things I am sad that I missed are the conclusion to all the storylines that converge on the Church, since I couldn’t retry a lot of the checks involved there (I couldn’t retrieve Soona’s stuff in the fridge, blocking me from a lot of Speedfreaks/Church content), and sleeping on the island, since I didn’t really think it would trigger a cutscene.

Amazing game nonetheless.

Also, Proverbs. I’m shocked it was ‘only’ 23 hours hahahaha I’m playing Mosaic 2024 Retrospective and I believe it will take much longer haha

Congrats on your beaten games!!

I ended up being able to go through that storyline but tbh at some point I also started save scumming because I did not want to replay the whole game to see some things I REALLY wanted to see. But now I can finally see the noclip doc and consume a lot of Disco Elysium content on youtube as well :D

About Proverbs, not sure if I was quick with it or not, since it was one of the first games I played of the genre. I now do want to play more games of the genre but I also don’t want to occupy all my free time with them xD

Thank you!

fernandopa

The noclip rec remains. It’s wild how the whole thing unravels. Also it helps to explain how such a quirky and beautiful game was able to be created in the first place. Fascinating.

Also – free so why not? Haha

I know the feeling and will do the same from now on. It really is!
