Mostly completed or played - March 2026
- Cairn for indie Goty ! ^^
- The precinct story was really classic. All vehicles are fun to drive including the helico but daily loop is repetitive. Not a bad game, it’s more hmm a good bag of chips.
- Finished NFS Unbound, once into the swing it’s a lot of fun ! Unlike NFS Heat, there are finally daytime sprints and not just nighttime ones, so day races are much better. The downside is that we still have to repeat the same loop 4x7 days and cars are still crazy expensive. Fortunately we can win some cars along the weeks and there are still a lot of tuning options. And i got so much adrenaline at full speed on the highway ! :D
February/March theme - All Aboard
- Finally i could play it more, finishing multiple times the main campaign.
It’s an amazing arcade submarine game made by a single dev. You don’t need a full 400 pages manual to learn, just like a 15 minutes tutorial. Missions are randomized, fun but repetitive. Well on another hand, there are not so many things to do with a submarine ? On easy it’s clay pigeon shoot, relaxing ! On sim difficulty, we have to learn when to use the periscope and when not to, when to dive, flee or engage the enemy, or change course. AI then becomes the hunter.
In progress - plan for next month
- Occasionally : CoH3 (lol but still intend to slowly finish this one), Swat Commander (on stand-by as it’s an early-access)
- This month i would like to focus on Two point museum and New Heights, i made some progress past month
Have fun for next month !
Oh gosh I’m considering a lot buying Cairn full price. It just looks so good and I was really, really into climbing two years ago. Glad you also had fun with it, apparently! Hahahahaha
Cairn is extremely good, linear but i hope devs will add more content in the future !
If you’re into climbing, you should consider New Heights too… on sale ! It’s like moving a latex character, despite some collisions bug it’s really fun !
Never heard of New Heights before! It’s definitely a different take, looks much more a sim than an arcade game, but the real-world locations definitely make it appealing. Wishlisted already, thank you for the mention!
Good to know The Precinct is a solid title. It looked appealing to me, but I wasn’t sure if I should keep it on my WL or not.
Solid hmm not to that point as daily routine is strongly repetitive. But there is a background ambiance that is strangely pleasant (1980’ police novel aestetic, i liked a lot the OST too).
(about story) This is the police 1 / Police stories / The precinct < This is the police 2 / Sleeping Dogs < L.A. Noire
I received it as a gift, but would advice to get it on sale or bundled (30€ is too much, get it around 10-15)
Okee dokee! Good to know!

Good job, Cairn looks great. I’ve been so good not buying any games this year, maybe it’s time to celebrate by buying a game?
Thanks ! You have the mental strenght that i don’t have here ! :p
I still receive a lot of games for many occasions and try to keep the pile of shame hmm at same size, while i see you reducing it actively !
Anyway Cairn really worths it indeed, it’s just very linear though, 2 playthroughs max and all is discovered and done.
