Yes I’m ok! It was on a busy road where most people were going slow so it was alright luckily. They tried to merge into my lane from a side street on the other side of the street, across double lines (so not allowed to cross there…).

I tried to claim on insurance, but because I don’t have comprehensive (my car is a bomb!) they will only follow up on an at fault driver that they can prove, they gave me the line that I need to get them to admit fault lol. The driver was unlicensed driving their parents car… lots of issues there. I tried to make a statement to police a couple days later when insurance wouldn’t follow up, but apparently to make a statement you need to be within 24 hours. So yes, fun times were had 😅

Then there was the issue with trying to get quotes to fix my car - I finally took it to a nearby place, got the quote with the parts they would need to replace then decided I’d order the parts myself after youtubing how to replace them and realizing I could do it myself if needed with the tools dad had…It’s pretty much the front bumper, front right light, and a part of the side panel near the front wheel needs to be hammered in a bit. So if needed, I thought that I could do it myself at least with the tools at parents.
Luckily dad is amazing, and started to fix it this week! So hopefully all will be well there 😂

Thank you! Yes, the voucher I ended up winning turned my month around after that whole disaster! Now I’ve just been doing a full Spring clean(Summer clean now?). Hopefully I’ll have as many jobs done before my 2 weeks off work for the holidays!
