April-May-June 2026
I have been waiting to upgrade my PC, and I did finally get around to that. Some of my more graphic intensive games my PC was struggling through, which is why I've been avoiding a lot of my bigger, prettier graphic intensive games recently. Built the new PC, and the GPU was the bane of my existence. It has a 4mm clearance in the case! Nearly thought that I snapped part of my GPU off (well, an important part. Part DID snap off!), so that was some stress I didn't need. There was an hour or so I was thinking I would have no GPU haha. And then once I got it all working, I sat down to play and my headset was playing up (which I've also been having issues with..) so then decided to get separate headphones and mic this time rather than a gaming headset, which seems a lot better so far. It is now done, and now I can play more recent games. 007 is playing brilliantly now it has all been fixed. I have a few games I'm excited to be able to play now like Clair Obscur which has been waiting in my backlog since Christmas.
PC Build Chaos - CLICK
If you are planning a PC build.. make sure your GPU has a lot more clearance than just 4mm. Otherwise you are in for PAIN. But it is done, and hopefully this will carry me through another 7+ years.

Cute little idle game
I really enjoyed this game - pretty much just putting books on shelves :D Some of the book titles were interesting to note as you went.
Recommended if you like organising things.
As a librarian, it does remind me of the days when I used to do shelving - but more fun.
You are a stone.
That is the game. Also weird events that happen, and actually really beautiful for screenshots.
But again, you can't move. As you are a stone.
Super fun and strange game.
I realised near the end, that the game needs DLC to 100%, so it's Beaten for now and going back into the backlog.
