Communication is key

This games nails the sensation of feeling lost and confused when you're in a place where you know nothing, but as you progress and learn how to communicate your understanding of the different groups and their world becomes more clear and interesting.

Overall the game is pretty simple communication puzzle game combined with other smaller puzzles, the music is great, the scenarios are really pretty, the story would be lacking for most of the game which may be my biggest complain, you have no idea what you do or why you do it until the very end, but it is done on purpose.

My other big complain is the Bards section, I had troubles getting the proper translations and words order I wanted that section to end ASAP, thankfully the next section feels normal again.

Recommended if you like puzzle games and want to try something out of the box.

Congrats! This one has been on my radar for a while. The visuals look super cool, and I never played a translation/communication game so I’m very keen to see how it unfolds :)

Congratz ! I’ve this one in backlog from monthly bundle, from your review it looks like an average puzzle.
Still curious as my favorite game is Heaven’s Vault, do you know it ?

I don’t know about Heaven’s Vault to be honest, but from what I saw the premise looks similar

Heaven’s Vault, we really feel like “the first archaeologist to set foot in a place”, we discover scattered words exploring the area, and each word allows to translate more new phrases that provide context for the lore. A bit like learning a mysterious ancient language but much easier. The only downside is that the heroine’s legs aren’t visible and she moves slowly, otherwise it’s an indie masterpiece for sure.
