Quick thoughts:

Leap Year

9/10

Tiny beautiful metroidvania in Tunic style - so you have all abilities from the start, but you must discover them. Beside that interesting platformer in which you will die form falling damage in you jump, so it is adding puzzle element of “how to jump, to always land higher and don’t die”. Very short, but also dirty cheap, so it is a must play for every metroidvania platformer fan. Also - last part of the game is testing all things that you learnt during whole playthrough and it is quite brutal.

Sparklite

6/10

Top down roguelite with metroidvania elements, and some light puzzles and just a touch of metroidvania. I had a good time on steamdeck, but honestly I barely remember it already.

Forever Skies

7/10

Survival game in which your base is your ship, so you can take it everywhere. Which is exacly what I needed in my survival, because I’m always annoyed by the fact, that after I choose placement for my base, I’m basically stuck. Beside that, classic survival stuff - food, tireness, difficult enemies (although very sparse), resource gathering, crafting. It was good, but in the end I was a bit tired of the fact, that so many places I could go looked basically the same, and I was glad it ended.

When The Past Was Around

7/10

Another little game - adventure game with very simple puzzle, and sad, moving story. This type of indie title.. The story was a bit cliche, but it was very pretty and I had some good time with it.

The Gunk

7/10

Action adventure game in this claaassic style of mostly linear levels, which I feel recently is almost dead. Very easy, but fun and colorful.I liked it, I feel it is so generic, that it started to by unque again, because noone else is currently making such games.

The Spirit and the Mouse

7/10

Little mouse got struck by the lighting an gained electric power. And is helping people living in his town, because fortunately every problem can be solved with fixing elecricity - no hard life choices, deseases, relationship problems, just old man, who cannot watch his favourite programm, or guy, who cannot eat his meal because microwave is not working. All cute little platformer with a bit of collectathon and puzzles.

Oh, I have The Gunk and Sparklite on my list, The Gunk being a SG Win. I might prioritize it for next month, I really like the way you describe it
