April 2025

Started digging through my old bundles again. Picking games that I had planned to play someday years ago. Fulfilling that promise now.

Ember Knights

Achievement are broken for some reason. This one was alright action game. Played it in two player co-op. All areas were done pretty well but nothing exceptional. Might get hectic with four players and high difficulty.

DmC Devil May Cry

Short and sweet enough. Perhaps not as good as the earlier games but it had that Devil May Cry feel.

Congratz, also having Devil May Cry on my backlog and Ember Knights on my wishlist.

DmC was short enough that you can squeeze through it within couple sessions. I like short action games that don’t overstay their welcome. :D Heavy recommendation for co-op partner for Ember Knights, if possible. You can play it solo (I guess, tried couple times) but felt much more enjoyable in company.

Congratulations on your assassinations!!! ᓚᘏᗢ
Did you have a favorite game this month?

Not really any favorites but I enjoyed DmC for its pacing. Too many games don’t have enough gameplay content for their length and end up getting into grind zone. In some games that is fine, but when I try to breeze through backlog, it makes my life easier when games are short and sweet. :p
