I guess I stopped playing this because I was stuck in a level which was too chaotic. However thinking outside of the box helped a lot. This may looks like Sniper Elite and feels like Sniper Elite (well, they are “almost” same), but you cannot camp here and you should always be mobile because all of the zombies know where you are and you are their only objective. Though I forgot how fun was it.

Don’t get me wrong, the game is hard and there were really hard parts but you won’t notice when you are in the mood. It’s kinda weird to play a zombie-shooter in a third-person view but the game is designed for that so don’t worry. I feel like it could’ve been better if this was an FPS but it would also be much more tense, since you can check your surroundings in third-person easily but not in first-person. The game looks it primarily designed for 4 person co-op but it’s totally doable for single-player as well.

If horde-shooters are your thing I definitely recommend this, it was one of the best even though it is in third-person.

I also left this on the final boss apparently so it didn’t take me long. These are very good Lara Croft games but the controls are abomination, that’s not how you make isometric games. Very mediocre puzzles but it was still fun.

Somehow they made the controls even worse here and I found the navigation “map” is pretty much useless. Why put a place to discover and go to the required levels from there? Other than these it was kinda easier than the first game while it was bloated with useless stuff.

Very fun Zuma game and more casual than the first one. It’s nice to hear “cling, cling, cling, ZIIINNNNNGGGG” every time.

Also, ribbit!

One of the most “believable” Sakura stories.

I haven’t played Halo games other than this collection so I don’t know if there are worse ones but to me this was the worst. Especially the person who designed Library map deserves a special place in Hell. Because of TLE, I already have bad experience with dejavus and that map felt like they glued the same map over and over and I didn’t even feel I was progressing. It was way too long too. And the same bullet-sponge enemy hordes at your every step as well. It was way worse than Dragon Age II regarding map issues, I guess they had to be fast and made this game in a short time.

It was more frustrating than it was fun.

Now this was an epic game, maybe even more than Halo: Reach. It was also nice to play from the enemy perspective and I loved those levels. Gunplay was top-notch. They also switched from “medpacks to HP regeneration”, just like between Call of Duty and Call of Duty 2. I love medpacks but I guess sometimes this is necessary to make the game more streamlined. Anyway, I can easily say this was one of the best shooters I’ve ever played.

Kojima sure knows how to make a progressive game. They even made walking tremendously tedious.

It’s a very bizarre game but I know the same bizarreness from MGS:V so I adapted rather quickly. The “multi-player” aspect was also a nice touch, where you can see some other players’ structures and they could be very useful for you. You can even use the roads they built or the otherway for them as well. Boss fights were not hard and they even made them kinda casual to appeal more people I guess. Even though they were not hard, they were still tedious. The game is almost always tedious.

However I enjoyed the game very much and even played a little more after I finished the story (built some roads for other people). Cutscenes were probably long enough to make a film so when you start playing it will take some time. I like the fact that they explain the bizarre stuff one by one when you advance in the story, so they make sense as in whole and make the whole thing captivating.

It was one of those games where I say “totally worth it”.

Second part of the answers arc of Higurashi. Glad I forgot about details from anime so I can still enjoy it. Every chapter is astounding and this was even more. One of the best VN series you can ever find and even better with 07th-mod (the console version).

Congratulations on all of your assassinations!!! Looked like you had a mixed-ish month? I’m glad Halo 2 and Death Stranding were so good! What are your plans for October? anything Spooky?

Mitsukuni

Thank you! I guess all of my months are mixed-ish :). I’m usually pretty far away from horror related media but if it’s not the main point of them that’s okay for me I think. Though if you count OMORI as spooky, I’ll go with that this month. That should be more than enough spooks for me. :)
