Quite nice roguelite which consumed a lot of my time in April. All you have to do is to deliver your energy core to the next level and eventually to the exit out of the dungeon, you have an interesting array of mechanics to develop your own strategies for the given situations.
If youre into roguelikes/lites then you should definitely try this one!
P.S. I'm looking for someone to go through mp achievements with, which is essentially to make it through a dungeon once.

A very good p'n'c game. The mechanics twist is you're a ghost and can do some ghostly stuff to help you navigate the map and solve puzzles, which are sometimes cruelly hard (i had to use the walkthrough for some parts). Otherwise it's your usual p'n'c adventure with an interesting story to capture your attention.

Now for the monthly theme part, thanks to disobeyeddycha for selecting a good bunch of unplayed games for me.

A good p'n'c with an interesting plot and a nice art style. There's nothing more to say without revealing the plot really.
Point'n'click games with retro visual style is your thing? You'll like this one!

A uniquely styled p'n'c game, i was skeptical at first but i liked the style, i played it and i liked it a lot. The only downside that i found is some crucial elements might blend into the background so if you got stuck - just check out if there is an item hidden in plain sight somewhere around. Puzzles were pretty easy but entertaining.
Point'n'click game with a unique art style, pretty good but not without some minor flaws, I recommend it regardless.

My gem of the monthly theme, i wanted to play this game since it was released and finally i got to play it and i wasn't disappointed, mostly. First of all you NEED a community patch to play the game, otherwise it's too buggy. It's a first person action rpg with heavy emphasis on the story and dialogues, the combat is VERY weak and can be described as BAD by current standards. You can get out of most sticky situations with your various non-combat skills, but towards the end you will need some decent fighting skills to finish the game.
If you can manage the mediocre combat system for the sake of great world, atmosphere and dialogues then you'll find this game awesome, otherwise you will be greatly disappointed.

Quite entertaining space station building simulator with various types of demands and hazards, fun while it lasts but gets pretty stale when you learn all of the mechanics.
Like building sims? This one is good but doesn't hold your interest for long.

Stealth/third person shooter that is mediocre at best. Stealth is unsatisfying, clunky and looks stupid, there are parts where you are forced to go guns blazing, the story and missions are simply boring, checkpoint system with all of the above is just a nail in the coffin. Visually the game looks decently and combat feels much better than the stealth counterpart... thats all of the good points i can think of.
Even if you love stealth games and happen to have this one in your library i wouldn't recommend actually playing it.

Nice progress and nice update style!
Several games I have in my backlog that I’d like to play– Goetia, Kathy Rain, Lumino City, VTMB….even Velvet Assassin (lol).

Evolve

Thanks.
Maybe on the next challenge month i’ll challenge you with those ;)

It’s as the saying goes:
Every time Vampire the Masquerade Bloodlines gets mentioned, someone reinstalls it.

I’m really tempted to reinstall it and play through it again. I very rarely play through games more than once, but VtM: Bloodlines is just so darn good.

Evolve

I was tempted to try another playthrough with the Nosferatu, but decided to move on and play other games.

Fnord

What clan did you play? Malkavians & Nosferatus have major differences between their campaigns & the vanilla one. Not in the main story, but in most of the dialogue and even some events. Tremere also has a major change to their campaign that happens a bit later in the game (and can be missed!)

Evolve

I played as Malkavian, i really liked what they did there, all that madness with some vague insights on other characters, though sometimes i couldn’t understand what my character said. Sadly there were only a handful of dialogues with reactions to that weird speech and it was “perfectly fine and understandable” most of the time.

Fnord

In an interview the developers stated that they wanted to expand that, and make it so that there were more unique dialogue for all the clans, but they quite simply could not afford it. The developers had enough issues with the deadline that was forced upon them (they were forced to release the game at roughly the same time as HL2, as part of the agreement for using the engine)

Evolve

So many great games lose potential cause of deadlines, rushes and general publisher interventions, sigh.
