Belated September report :)

Month started great, was playing some cool games, plenty of SG wins for various events :)
6 games for SG’s “play a game you won”, 4 for “Serial killer”, 2 for “Challange Me” and 1 for “ABC list”. Looks like a lot of games, but many overlap ^_^

Sword of Asumi Got challenged by nin to play it for aug/sept event, even challenged her to play it for sept/oct :) Cool VN, even though i am not into that genre. Liked that my decisions mattered in the end, so i was happy with my ending :D Didn’t hunt 100% since i want to replay it some day, to get to other ending without guides :)

Midnight Mysteries: The Edgar Allan Poe Conspiracy Played it for SG’s “Play SG win” and “Serial Killer” events. Interesting HOG game, story was cool but i had problems with resolution so i had to play it in small windowed mode on 22” monitor

Midnight Mysteries: Salem Witch Trials Second game in Midnight Mysteries series, won 5 of them so will be playing others as well :D Played it for SG’s “Play SG win” and “Serial Killer” events. It was also cool HOG game, but i liked first one more. I had bug with achievements so i got none, apparently there is some beta version where they work but i found out in the end xD

Always Sometimes Monsters Got challenged by nin to play it for aug/sept event. Cool RPGMaker game, liked the story, funny dialog that made me lough, didn’t like cash grinding that needed to be done. They even announced sequel Sometimes Always Monsters :D

Samantha Swift and the Hidden Roses of Athena HOG game i wanted to play it for SG’s “Play SG win” and “Serial Killer” events, but encountered a nasty bug at the end of the game. There is a limit of things you can carry and i couldn’t pick item since i had full inventory but the item disappeared, and there was no way to reload save or get that item in any other way :/

Mythic Wonders: The Philosopher’s Stone Another HOG game. Played it for SG’s “Play SG win”. It was interesting and not hard to 100% :)

Death to Spies Played it for SG’s “Play SG win”, “Serial Killer” and “ABC list”. Triple kill ^_^ It is stealth game set in WW2, you play as Russian spy and your job is to complete missions against Germans. There are various types of missions, like infiltrating military base and prison camp, freeing some prisoners, destroying the bridge(hated that mission), dressing up as scientist and playing as civilian in hotel and embassy. All in all fun game, won sequel on SG as well so looking forward to playing it :)

Hexcells Infinite and The Silent Age were mentioned in my last post…

So while playing all these games i barely touched Counter-Strike which was good change :). But later i got busy finally finishing my Master Thesis and Counter-Strike was my brainless rest, something i could turn to for short break when needed and played it for 90 hours xD
In the end i got my degree after many years ^_^ and after few days of celebrating i didn’t know what to do so i started with my report :D I guess i should write CV and start looking for a real job sometime soon. :) Still need to finish with all the documents on faculty though, but that won’t be much of a problem i guess.

First of all: Congrats on getting that degree! throws loads of confetti around ;)

Also: Nice killing on those two challenged games. Glad you enjoyed them (mostly).
Also nice work for the monthly happy

And now I run out of words blush
Have a great month!
Happy backlog killing :)

kiseli

Thanks

Well i killed 3/5 from that challenge and will get to playing the rest at some moment :)

I surprised myself with all the played games too, didn’t think i would have that much free time at beginning of the month :D

ninglor03

Yep, I’m also trying to get everything done I’m challenged to. Even if it takes a bit :)

Ha, yes, it sounded worse then it turned out, right? ;) :)

kiseli

Well i did put all the challenge games on the list, plan on playing them one day :D Sooner or later :D

uguleley

Big congrats with the degree! And it’s good to have at least one mindless ‘stress reliever’ game in your backlog, one that’s easy to hop into. :)

kiseli

Thanks :)
I agree that it is good to have game like that, but the problem is getting out of it though :D

Vito

Congratulations on your deegree and good luck with the jobhunt! :)

kiseli

Thanks :)
