Late 2016 Report

about Backlog Assassin who is actually not Backlog Assassin

As I mentioned before I had special goal in 2016. At the end of 2015 I had almost 500 games on Steam. So I made a goal to get another 500 and gain in total 1K+ games but without spending any moneys except those I got from selling cards. #PROFIT. And I made it...

When everyone tries to reduce their backlog as possible I raise it as I can. But did I change my mind after joining this wonderful community? Na-a-ah, I'm the same greedy person ;-P

Replaying

Also I noticed that I have strange obsession in replaying different edition of the same games.

Plans for 2017

Nah, screw them, I don't use plans.

Sincerely, not real backlog assassin escollo.

LastM

I really don’t want to be rude, but I’d love to understand why did you join this site, if your goal was to double the amount of games you have? o.0
Anyway, congratz on finishing 70+ games.

escollo

To organise backlog at least somehow.

CaerBannog

Nice year you had :D Congrats :) We’re pretty much all collectors here :D Maybe you’ll do better in 2017 :)

escollo

Thanks. Well, I hope I’ll not so greedy this year, but tbh I can’t control that :D

Animepocalypse

wow having done both editions….you are hardcore. Major props!!! awesome job ^ ^

escollo

I wonder what games you’re talking about, but it’s not very hard to replay already known game.

EvilBlackSheep

Well at least you made it to the goal you had set yourself so I guess congrats are in order? ;)

escollo

And it started from collecting free games few years ago. But thanks anyway!

Downward Concept

Man, I envy your enthusiasm for videogames. When I was in my teens I would play the shit out of games I’ve bought. Play them several times over, try to get all achievements, play every quest and explore every nook and cranny. Nowadays I’m happy if I even finish a game once…

escollo

Good idea - not wasting times on every corner in the game. But if I don’t do that I would spend my time on another form of escapism.

LinustheBold

So? Are there any differences of note in the versions, apart from the graphics upgrades? I applaud your completionist urges and how you cater to them!

escollo

Big difference is only in Resident Evil 4, ‘cause it starts support mouse so game become much more comfortable. Others… Well it was mostly replay of games which I liked.
