Not the greatest month for games, unfortunately, but i spent most of it moving house, so i do have an excuse

Besides finishing Plucky Squire and Boltgun, i did find some time to finally put Tower Fortress to bed (i mean, technically it could come back, but not in any future i can currently foresee).
Nuclear Throne had an update at some point recently, so i've been trying to grab some of the new achievements, and yeah.. that game is just... well, i'm not having a good time, let's just say that...

Otherwise, just started Pyre, which is great so far, and acquired a fistful more to the backlog, as usual.
Keep it up everyone, i'm enjoying reading all your posts

How’s Pyre? I’ve beaten Bastion late last year and Transistor earlier this year, Pyre is installed but I haven’t started it yet. Wondering if I should use some downtime in March to go for it :)

Congrats on the beaten games!

I’m very much enjoying it so far. Production quality is exquisite, as you’d expect from these guys. The game-play part is a bit odd, but mostly because it’s quite different to most other games. And then the narrative is doing something very interesting with the exile and liberation themes, and tying that back to your team of characters.
So far it’s an easy peasy recommend, but of course i need to finish it first

Well, most of what you said also describes the jump I felt from Bastion to Transistor. Presentation remained top-notch, even better in my opinion. Gameplay had familiar elements but also felt like its own thing, and the narrative had a lot of connection to gameplay mechanics, with lore unlocked as you use skills. These guys really know how to make a good game.

I’m looking forward to it!! Hoping to beat my last PoP game in the next week or so, and to use the rest of the month to tackle backlog (Pyre, Night in the Woods, Dishonored, Call of Duty MW)
