August report

So. let me get this straight, this month was nothing good (for games). Only 2 finished. And 1 of them is a bit of cheating since it’s the anniversary edition of Dawn of War that I played countless of hours already.

I was on holidays, I begun too many games, and I finished only 2. Hopefully September will be better for my backlog

Wall of shame

At least, nothing abandonned this month !

Beaten/ Completed

  • Warhammer 40,000: Dawn of War - Definitive Edition
    10/10

    55.2 hours playtime

    no achievements

  • Ni no Kuni™ II: Revenant Kingdom
    8/10

    97.2 hours playtime

    39 of 63 achievements

Till next time !

Hey a 97h game finished, it’s far from nothing ! :o
And even if it was (but it’s not), everybody need to enjoy holidays !

Sword

You’re right of course! But my backlog begins to move by itself by now, and it grows bigger and bigger :p

Still holiays are a breather !

What do you mean, no good? Ni No Kuni is a marathon and you beat it, that’s no small feat :)

As long as you’re enjoying them, you’re doing it right!

Sword

Both games were really nice so yeah, it was not work.

But i fear my playthrough of Rain World in September (that I already began in August) will prove tougher :x

fernandopa

Coincidentally, I was watching some videos of Rain World gameplay this morning (looking for a specific one about how it was animated, but I couldn’t find it) and that is a game that looks so punishing yet so satisfying when you finally crack it, if you ever do!

I have it on my backlog, but thinking about starting it makes me more anxious than starting Elden Ring did hahahah

Zelrune

Congratulations on your assassinations!! ᓚᘏᗢ
I loved Ni No Kuni 2, I wished you could explore the kingdom you built more. It feels like it’s been a while since I played it.

Thanks!
The kingdom part is really a neat mechanism. It’s a shame it’s not used more than it is.

I really love when RPGs give you (a bit of) management elements. Pathfinder Kingmaker was awesome on that aspect with the barony mangement !
