FINALLY done C on my ABC plan xD Only took me a few months. Anyways, I was looking forward to Chroma Squad for a while…. I forgot how slow tactical RPGs are to me :,) The game made me laugh and had a lot of internet jokes in it, and overall was pretty good. It just… takes a while. This 10 hours was me playing on casual. And yeah, I’m sure I’ve left it up a while and so it actually took me less than 10 hours, but still xP Overall, though, I did enjoy it. I just, also wanted it to be done.
Basically, it’s a tactical RPG that spoofs the power rangers. You play as 5 stunt doubles who quit their own studio and start their own. Complete each episode, and watch your ratings either climb or fall. Spend your money to upgrade your studio, get benefits, armor, and the likes. Have super-powered transformer-like battles! It’s like your own little voltron. To be honest, I really loved the robot battles.

Anyways, up next, Dear Red!

Outstanding game, from soundtrack to atmosphere. I just wish it was a tad more fairly difficult without resorting to HP inflation when they could’ve created more interesting scenarios instead of merely throwing waves of enemies at you. I think the GaGa and final boss fights were great because they actually involved more than just hammering at the enemy. Shame to hear Saban apparently stepped on devs HARD and killed any chance for a sequel, though.

Yeah, the boring smashing of waves of enemies was what I struggled with most. It was just very repetitive fight-wise - I was on casual, so I could basically one-shot most of the enemies. Which like, yeah I get I’m on casual, but it felt like a time waster more than anything needing to do that to like, 20 enemies. But I loved the feel, art, music, and everything else. And yeah, especially considering they had set it up for one a bit :/
