Stick It To The Man!

7/10

A fun platformer/adventure game with quite unique mechanics. You are able of reading people minds, which is giving you clues, what to do next, but also you can take things out of their thoughs and materialize them, or put things into their brain and influence their minds. The game itself is quite easy but has a few clever puzzles. The story is quite fun, it get nice sense of humor, and voice acting is good. The only thing I didn’t like were moments, when you need to be stealthy. First two, three times they were fine, but in the end there were waaaay too many of them, and I was treating them as a chore.

Fire: Ungh’s Quest

7/10

Steamgift win. This is this kind of adventure game, which does not care about inside game logic and plot. You are a caveman, you were looking after the fireplace, the fire burnt out, so now you must go and bring fire from the volcano. The game is separated into several levels, each level contains 3-4 screens, and on them you need to solve typical adventure puzzles to go further. As I said the puzzles, while logic, are completely absurd in the games world, so you are quickly forgetting about plot and focusing on the riddles. And as that this was a nice one evening entertainment.

AVICII Invector

8/10

Normally I hate rhythm games, and I’m really bad at them. But this one got my attention, because it looked a bit different than typical guitar hero clone. Also, I knew only one song from AVICII, but I really enjoyed it, so it was a good occassion to listen to a couple more. I played through all 30 songs (25 in main game and 5 as free DLC) I didn’t have much problems in gameplay on easy mode, I enjoyed most of the music, and the graphics were nice too, and despite that I officially finished the game, I’m keeping it on my desktop, just to play a song or two from time to time, to relax myself.

I felt the same exact way about AVICII Invector, though I was familiar with a couple more of his tracks in years past. It is one of the most original rhythm games I’ve played since Amplitude on the Playstation.
