For once I managed to find someone to play a coop game with (Hi Cat wave)

This game is a blast, good platforming, good puzzles. Funny story, very funny and good story.
It simply ticks all boxes.

Most puzzles are really focused to cooperate, so a voice chat is basically a must.

The only thing which was a bit of a bummer, that there was no option to turn off the split screen, which I would have preffered for over the net coop.

Nice little puzzler in which you play with your perception to mostly change sizes of objects.

Gameplay is really nothing impressive here.
I considered dropping it twice in that short time of the game.
But the nice story and the voice acting actually made me pull through.

Would probably have worked better as audio book

Ahhh yes Forza Horizon 5…..
I had a lot of fun with this game.
Didn't play racing games for a long time, but…
… if you look past the single player expierence, the multiplayer is sadly still riddled with bugs.
The season list is also still riddled with bugs

I finished all the base races and the "story" and counted the game completed for me.
Kinda sad they have such a big problem with bugs.

This one was hard to gauge for me.
Everyone compared it to paper mario, but the only paper mario I played was origami king.
And the combat and simliar had nothing in common with it.

I guess I lacked nostalgia for that part.
it was still a good and fun turn based RPG with reaction/tming based attacks.
The story overall was nice but took too long to get interesting,
but I would not rate it 5/5.
Still good though

KIRUI-CHAN! MAJIMAAAAA!

I really had a blast with all 3 Yakuza games, sadly I skimmed through the side quests and ignored the minigames since I was on a timer.
All 3 games are leaving gamepass this month so I tried my best to finish them in time (which I did)

But the main story and the side quests I played were super interest and fun, especially majima is always good for a laugh.
The combat was varried and fast enough to keep it interesting enough

All good games

Wow, that’s some pretty amazing games you’ve played! Thanks for the reviews! You really made the best of the Game Pass. Finishing all three Yakuzas in time must’ve been almost a bit stressful :D

Nariel

I made myself a list with all the Game Pass stuff I want to play. :D (as of now 28 games left)
But I really neglected my steam backlog for it.
It just came unexpected that they removed all 3 of those at once, it’s not really that stressfull if you focus on the story.
About 15h per game I would say, spread over 15 days that’s very doable.

I am just waiting for the new list of games right now, to know what leaves and what I have to start

Vito

When you put it that way, it does sound doable. Hope you find some nice games to play this month…and after all it’s just a different kind of backlog, so still worthwhile assassinations ;)

Kaleith

You managed to beat those 3 Yakuza games right before they left the pass on January 1st :3
Your review of Lost Words confirms what I had already heard around release. I was mildly looking forward to it knowing it was written by Rhianna Pratchett, but the complaints about the gameplay kept me from wanting to actually play it >_>

Nariel

Yep. I always wait for the leaving games, if one of my backlog is on there I focus on those :D

I had Lost Words on my steam wishlist as well, the trailer looks way better than the gameplay actually is.
The story is nice, but nothing overly special, you basically are a….10 year old girl(dunno about the age right now), which tries to write a book(not gonna say more, cause spoiler)
So are 50% in her journal to what happens in her in real and 50% in the book she writes.
If you really want to see it negatively the journal part is just “stand till she finished talking and go to next page”
and the book part is just “keep walking right while she tells her story”
There is a bit of gameplay stuff, but nothing I would consider worth mentioning.
