☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆

I have been on a roll with great games lately, and that hasn’t ended yet!

Starlight Vega is a wlw VN that nicely balances story, romance, and spice. You play as Aria, a young woman who moves into her grandfather’s old house. She doesn’t know much about him, but she never could have guessed that the gem he was hiding in his study held a demon inside! That gem becomes fused with Aria’s body, binding her to Lyria, the demon. Aria, her best friend Melody, and Lyria have to work to find a way to remove the gem - and then get Lyria home.

This is a finely made VN - the sprites are appealing, the CGs are plush and well done, the writing is fun and bouncy and lively. Aria has three romance options - Melody, Lyria, and Lyria’s sister, Scherza - that are all different and all well done. The love scenes - which you can choose to turn on or off from the settings menu - are spicy without being ultra-explicit, and they’re tender and sweet and loving which is all that I give a shit about.

Is it game changing? No. Does it have to be? Hell no. Starlight Vega is a fun romp, and that’s why I’m adding it to my Visual Novel Masterlist.

Next up: RNGesus keeps making me pick the most recent games in my backlog! Time for some boys - seven of them to be precise.

See you soon!
