Interesting concept. Game has pausing system where you can plan your actions. The idea is that you likely do something that makes the situation go really bad. Then you start using your equipment/items to solve the situation you are in. For example, teleport into group of enemies. Melee hit first, disable shields on the second and shoot him after and throw your weapon against the third one which is too far away for another melee hit.

You will die and go through multiple characters but that is alright. Game kinda forces you to retire anyway once your characters gets too good. I think the main campaign it too long though. I would have wanted more varied content as it got a bit repetitive even with different modifiers. Had fun though.

Congratulations on your wins! I really need to get back into playing No Mans Sky, I got super lost on my first playthrough and got distracted by another game and it went downhill from there.

I died in the tutorial planet on my first try. :D It is confusing game at first. Also adding DOT on tutorial level was a strange choice. Got really stressed when whole planet started burning and it kept popping some tutorial messages that I didn’t have enough time to read. Doesn’t help that there is ton of stuff to loot right at the start but your available inventory is minimal. But once you get the flow going, it is a relaxing game. I think it is better to have your own story/project ongoing in games like NMS. Keeps it going longer than it would otherwise. Because the basic gameplay loop is really simple and tedious behind all the fancy graphics and procedural generation.
