Bulletstorm: Full Clip Edition

6/10

Am I the only one missing linear shooters a bit? Right now everything is open world or roguelike. Bulletstorm is a bit older game, but it is still fun and lighthearted. It’s a happy shooter with a lot of enemies, a plot based on cliches, with an exception of our companion, who was basically changed into Robocop and in constant fight between his human and AI part of brain. I had my dose of fun, although I must day, in the third part of the game I was a bit tired and just wish it to end.

Headlander

6/10

Headlander is a standard metroidvania, with a mechanic of stealing enemies bodies. You are a floating head with a capability to connect to robot’s bodies, and there is a standard plot about evil AI and postapocaliptic world - in a rather comedic way. It was completely fine game, my only problem is that some of the parts were a bit annoying - like a maze-like riddle in which you are trying to unlock one doors, to unlock another, to unlock another… Also - I don’t know if I finish some parts “correctly”, because in some of them, I clearly felt like I was cheating.

Mythic Ocean

7/10

A small and simple game, in which you are meeting 5 gods (well - 6, but there are twins who can be count as one), and by talking to them you are changing their point of view of the world. In the end one of them will create a new universe, and you will see, how it will go. For me - not so good, because in two endings I had, I created two distopias :D . All in all, a very fun game, but it is clearly designed for multiple walkthroughts, and I feel, there will be a lot of stuff which will be the same every time, so I don’t really feel like I want to play again.

Have you tried playing through Bulletstorm as Duke Nukem? If so how was it?

Aquilla

I didn’t. I played it in traditional way, and then I’ve got enough.
