Fourth week of April

I am happy, I finally have some new games that I have completed to talk about \o/ and there is not a small amount of them either.

Completed SG wins

  • Hitori

    31 minutes playtime

    33 of 33 achievements

  • Color Circle

    39 minutes playtime

    11 of 11 achievements

  • ШП (ShP)

    2 hours playtime

    no achievements

Hitori - Puzzle game where you must make sure the same number doesn’t repeat in the same row and column on a grid following some additional rules. Small grids are fun to solve, but I wouldn’t bother with the big ones since you can not mark numbers you are unsure about differently.

Color Circle - A game where you have to hit and destroy blocks with the matching color circle. It was a lot easier that I expected it to be except the last level (16) which was a huuuuuuge pain in the ass. It probably took me longer to solve that one than the other 15 together. You also get an endless mode where you get random patters of blocks following no difficulty pattern.

ШП (ShP) - All my WTFs. Base game comes with 3 puzzles to solve and at the beginning they are each more confusing than the other but in a masochistic way I actually really enjoyed figuring them out. But still WTF.

Other completed games

  • Killing Floor 2

    218 hours playtime

    213 of 223 achievements

  • Dots

    63 minutes playtime

    108 of 108 achievements

  • qop

    78 minutes playtime

    252 of 252 achievements

  • The Secret Order 6: Bloodline

    3 hours playtime

    28 of 28 achievements

  • Persian Nights: Sands of Wonders

    2 hours playtime

    31 of 31 achievements

  • Eventide 3: Legacy of Legends

    3 hours playtime

    28 of 28 achievements

Killing Floor 2 - So finally after too much girding I 100%ed KF2 late last Sunday evening and those little shits of the devs went and added some achievements for 2 new maps that aren’t even playable yet a few days ago t(-.-t) I am still counting this game as completed till you can actually play those maps and get the achievements. And then I am gonna go and get them anyways so it will stay completed :P That said I enjoyed my time with the game a lot. It is a co-op wave based shooter with either 4,7,10 waves + boss wave (randomly selected boss out of the 4 currently out). Recently they added an endless mode as well where you have a boss wave every 5 rounds. You have 10 different perks to choose from, a big variety of weapons to shot and lots of enemies to kill. I think this is the shortest I can possibly make this “review” because I could go on and on about this game otherwise.

Dots - A puzzle game where you have to connect all of the dots without using the same path twice. 48 levels in total which are mostly really easy. Takes about 25 minutes to finish the game and 1 hour to get all the achievements due to there being a bunch of “play this game for X amount of time” ones. The game is also missing an undo button.

qop - Achievement spam warning >.> A puzzle game where you have to get a box from point A to point B without falling of the map. Total of 60 levels where about the first half aren’t really challenging but it gets harder by the end. On some levels big parts of them don’t even get used and on the majority of them the “helper” boxes are arranged in such way it makes it hard to see which ones are in the same line (or I might just be stupid, that is also an option). As the previous game this one really needs an undo button as well.

The Secret Order 6: Bloodline, Persian Nights: Sands of Wonders, Eventide 3: Legacy of Legends - All 3 very decent Artifex Mundi. Only 2 things I would say about them is that Persian Nights has a guy with you most of the game that I really really wanted to punch in the face and that my dumb ass finished Eventide 3 before realising I actually haven’t played Eventide 2 yet sigh.

ABC Coloring Town - Completed in January 2017. A coloring game for kids where you have something to color for each letter of the alphabet (multiple times). It is not really good and you are probably better of just printing some images from the internet and give them your kids to color.

Post Master - Completed in January 2017. Pretty simple post management game. I wish it would go more in depth and would be more to do.

Nightmares from the Deep 2: The Siren’s Call - Completed in February 2017. A good Artifex Mundi HOG.

Polandball: Can into Space! - Completed in February 2017. I love the Polandball comics and I had some good giggles with this game at the beginning. It gets boring after a while but I still enjoyed my time with it. Oh an no matter what this game says, Poland can not into space.

Nightmares from the Deep 3: Davy Jones - Completed in February 2017. Yet another good Artifex Mundi HOG. Yes, I own almost all of their games.

I want those AM games. Still not sure if I should buy the bundle for it though thinks

But were is your puzzle! There is no puzzle here! shock

Have a nice one!

I had a bunch of money left over on my debit card from my plane tickets costing less than expected so it was an easy decision for me :P yep, I am going to Germany again next month :P. If you end up getting it I hope you enjoy them! :)

I kinda got sick and tried of them this week. Probably gonna stay on hold for a few weeks till I get bored enough to pick it up again. Anyways I went from 668 hours and 858 of 1098 achievements last week to 694 hours and 912 of 1100 achievements.

You too! :)

ninglor03

Very good then! And your mug is already missing you!
I will, pretty sure of it ;)
I’m also kinda sure, I’ll get them. Me winning them is not that likely, buying more like it :D

Oh no! shock
But being bored by a game sucks, so it’s really better to take a break. Man, these numbers are still rather impressive! I’m… far away from them :D

MouseWithBeer

I sure hope nobody knocked it out of the cupboard D:
Them being bundles for the first time makes people keep them for themselves mostly I guess. That is what I did at least :3

I get these phases from time to time. I am 100% sure I will pick it up again once I am in Germany if I can be arsed to set up my boyfriends old PC again (too laggy to do +300 piece puzzles on my laptop and that is pretty much all I got left), especially now that he took the GPU out for a temporary replacement for his that died on Friday. :(

Well you don’t have that many packs either. Someone should get you more for your birthday/Christmas ;))

ninglor03

No! They wouldn’t dare! I will come over and kick them in the butts! O.O
True. I would be the same. But there are some out and about. But yeah, I guess I will buy it. Today or tomorrow or something ;)

That is VERY true. Somebody really should. Which also means I should really PLAY more puzzles. Right now I’m working on the first Challenge and try to get that done. Have almost half the pieces in place already :D

MouseWithBeer

I have seen the total of 1 GA before I went into the “wait, is there a new Artifex Mundi bundle?!?!?” investigative mode and bought it :D

Best of luck with it! As far as I remember the challenges were a lot harder at the beginning. About that, its May now, there should be a new one out \o/

ninglor03

That’s probably the smart thing to do :]

True, they are getting easier over time. Gotta have a look in a min, what the new one is. Since the older ones don’t run away, everything is fine :D

MouseWithBeer

The new one is a whole lot of brown. I finished it already :P

ninglor03

I thought on first glance it was a failed sandcastle o.o
I placed 1 (One) piece! \o/

MouseWithBeer

Congrats! One less to do :P
