Lately I've been a bit picky with HOGs, buuuuut that's done! I enjoyed this one! I might be wrong here, but I think it's the sequel to Dracula Origins - ok, looking into Frogwares, it sure looks like it - and I enjoyed that. At least I have it in fond memory. So that's a good thing I guess. Same with this one. It might not be the newest and most pretty game, but I still think it's pretty good! It mostly felt different then the usual HOG, which is a nice change (I'm not saying, I don't like the usual HOGs, but it's sometimes nice to have something different!). Also I guess it's way darker then the usual HOG. Even the Demon Hunter and Nightmare of the Deep are not really dark. Whereas Vampires and Bloodsucking instantly… yeah, are darker :D
Also I very much liked how you could influence the outcome of the game. If or if not you got the love of your… eh, undead life? (I totally always love, so there we go :] )
Recommendation? Yeah!
Cat Story ahead!
No real cat story but: I’m right now surrounded by my boys and I love it! Ameno is sleeping in the hammock (hanging on the heater) and Tizio on my desk behind my laptop screen. Oh man, I so love them! <3
OMG! It’s Sunday and I haven’t really started with this thing here. Also, I haven’t finished a game! Nin, what’s going on? How am I this slow this week?
So WHAT did I do? Good question. Lemme think. I played a bit – obv –, I’ve wrote a bit – yay! – Saturday and Sunday I painted a lot – woho! – and since I had to do it at home on Sunday I completed the 3rd season from 3%. So that’s nice too – although I was a bit pissed all through the season, right till the end. Which was good enough I guess :D Also I finished two (2!) books this week! Which might seem super unusual for me, since I slacked off a lot with reading, but in the end isn’t much. Still I’m happy about that. I guess this might explain the lack of gaming. Earlier to bed, reading… Yep, less time for gaming :D
A really pressing matter I have to take care of next week: I gotta finish this baby blanket. For some reasons babies refuse to wait for presents and just pop out the moment… well, they are more or less expected to. So yeah, I only have this month left until my cousins baby will be there! Knitting here I come!

Dad Tip #89 - Look at situations positively
Ps: Still no new Tips in sight – yes, I talked with my dad, but he never came up with anything… nice. Although he used to be awesome with made up stuff :D Maybe anybody knows about a game with awesome ingame tips, that are not focusing on the game?
I’m looking forward to your thoughts/review on Crimson Gray. I played it during the Japan/Anime theme so it’s still fairly fresh in my mind.
So far not too good rly. Firstly I totally pulled me down - with being depressed myself and shit - and then it just… turned out super weird? What’s going on?!? xD
Yeah, certain paths go pretty far out there, lol. In my first playthrough, I ended up in her basement, and ultimately ran away with her for the Happiness ending. I liked it better than the canonical / true ending. It also wasn’t as weird.

The “real” ending was way weirder :D
I hear Dark Souls had good in-game tips, all the way from motivational stuff to something like “It’s time for crab.” xD

You’re welcome! And also, I get that VN + HLTB pain. Either there’s data from max 5 people (which is still not a lot, cause one person will finish quickly, one will idle for whatever reason, three play at leisure and the time is all over the place) or there’s just no data at all… I want to add my playtimes too, since I registered once, but I can never get their password reset email. At this point I think it just has to be my email service blocking the messages…
I always want to add… but once I finish a game I completely forget about it and never do it. I mean, I could dig out my times (convenient I note them in my updates already), but… so much work for so little reward :D
Just make a new one? Maybe. Maybe that’s stupid. Did we connect our steam acc with HLTB? thinking
Same thing might have happened to me, I think! But yeah, making a new account is a dumb idea because I think it had an option of connecting to Steam since that’s where it took my game library from… and damn, I really want it back now!
Yeah, it certainly knows my library AND I’ve given them my steam profile number, sooo they know about that thinking
I’ve now added a few VNs and I’ll try to be more… mhm, reliable with uploading my times. At least for VNs :D
