February 2022

This has been a very stressful month. My mental health is not very good. I failed my goal to complete 5 games this month, but I did complete 4! I almost stayed up late to force myself to complete one more game but decided gaming shouldn’t stress me out. I’ll play when I feel like it and consider any games finished a success. That being said, I’m way behind in my challenge that ends in March so I’m hoping to finish Bastion, The Banner Saga or Epistory (maybe both if I can!) and Fairy Fencer F Advent Dark Force which I’m in the middle of. Anyway, onto February’s successes!

Both of theses games are very cute. This one was personally my favorite. They are short visual novels with a few choices. They are virtually oriented for some reason even though they don't appear to have been made for phones. But I recommend them just for a cute short story.

Did I choose short games that I knew I could complete to feel like I accomplished something? Yes, yes I did. No regrets!

I post these to hold myself accountable.

The Banner Saga or Epistory

Epistory is the easier one. You’re not even penalized for typos, but sometimes, the single-letter chests will interrupt you and you have to start the word over.

Banner Saga (at least the first one) was really boring until the final battle, when the difficulty suddenly had a massive spike, to the point where I just gave up after several attempts. Maybe it’s easier if you make different choices, I dunno.
