June 2021
First of all - I had a break from a Big Game Once a Month challenge. I didn’t feel like I want to play anything huge, and gaming should be fun above all. Instead I killed quite a lot of small games. I also tried to play Technomancer, but I gave up. The fighting was just too clunky for me. Of course Steam Sale hit me hard, as always. But I already manage to finish three of my buys (two already in July, so no reviews yet), so it’s not as bad as it could be. For last couple of months I am able to actually finish most of the games I’m buying, which I’m quite proud of.
Apparently I bought my 1000 game during this sale. I’m not sure if I should be happy or terryfied.

How did you like The Great Perhaps and Creepy Tale, beyond the 5/10 and 6/10 ratings?
Creepy Tale - I really like the art and mood, but I don’t like adventure games, in which you need to die 5 times to get, whet you suppose to do.
Great Perhaps was a bit of missed opportunity. I like the idea, but the puzzles didn’t use the idea in a smart way and there were some irritating deaths. Beside that, plot had HUGE plotholes.
I wrote short reviews here. https://www.backlog-assassins.net/posts/ml45rj7
Thank you for the response!
How was The Unfinished Swan?
It was very nice - walking sim which is trying to mix just a little puzzling - although not as good as What Remains of Edith Finch. But Edith is one of my most beloved games, so my expectations were high.
I see. Thanks!
