Hello Backloggers! Here is my potato!

Game Progression

I have been playing a lot of Battlefield 1 as it is much easier to just play that for a short time every/most nights as it is a quick jump in and out. The 200ms ping doesn’t help though but that is alright. I deleted a few games out of my library, 13 to be exact, these were games that I just activated with no intention of ever playing. I would rather have a library of games I might want to play as opposed to games I don’t even want to look at. I played the DOOM Demo, it only took like 30 minutes to complete, to try it out before I entered into the giveaways and it was a cool game. I kinda started SOMA as I have a DRM free version from the humble bundle the same with Jotun as I will be playing these games on the side as they won’t be part of the library. I also accidentally bought the FEB humble bundle monthly as I forgot to cancel the sub XD so that added XCOM 2 to my backlog and the rest I will probably giveaway.

Rebel Galaxy has been a really dope game. I was hoping to have completed it 100% before I made this post but the grind was getting too much for me to do the last few achievements so I have moved on to other things. I will come back to this one in just a little bit :D

Sid Meiers Civ V I love this game so much, so I have been playing it on and off to make some more progress on the achievements but there are so many so I am just working through them slowly. No point in killing the backlog if I am not enjoying it ;)

Valiant Hearts Wow this game was amazing. Although short [I completed it in one day] the game was so good I had to finish it as soon as I could. The emotions were crazy, grateful that there are games like this out there. I highly recommend it.

Conclusion

I haven’t been playing much as I have been distracted reading books, watching TED Talks and trying to find a job. I have had one interview and a few rejections which is never fun but I am hopeful :D I am excited for what this year has in store and I will most likely pick up the backlog pace in the coming weeks. Thank you for not kicking me out :P

Until next time

Oh man, Civ5. One of these days I swear I’ll get around to it… which is what I’ve been saying about Civ4 as well, but distractions always get the better of me. So many mods, too. To this day I regret I missing that Humble Monthly that had Rebel Galaxy in it. It seems like a great game with a stellar soundtrack.

Griff3nZA

Yeah, you have to replay CIV5 at least as many times as there are rulers. but at least it is a fun time.
Yeah rebel galaxy is awesome. It is a tad grindy at the end to get all the achievements and a ship strong enough to handle the final missions but I loved Freelancer and I love this one. I think Everspace is also going to be a brilliant game :D

Lucky Thirteen

Aw, good luck with finding a decent job! I know being unemployed can be pretty demoralising, been there.

Griff3nZA

Yeah thanks. But the interview went well :D We will see. Thanks for the well wishes :D
