Report #229: Day of the Tentacle Remastered

Never played it before, maybe I should have

This is probably one of those everybody knows, who played Point&Click since many years. Took me quite some time to finally play it myself. And I really enjoyed it.

The humor is very good and the puzzles are not too complex to solve. I used a guide here and there and especially to get all achievements in one go without the need to replay over and over

As an addition this also marks the end of Batch #19 for me. Another 10 games removed from backlog.

Nice job on all those 100% games! Most point & clicks are doable in terms of achievements, but yeah, sometimes guides are needed. Really thankful for those folks who create & put up those guides

Would you mind sharing some things you liked and disliked about this game? I’ve had this wishlisted for sometime, but haven’t had a chance to read Steam reviews or watch gameplay videos.

I liked the humor. If you have played a game by Tim Schaefer before and you liked it, you probably like this as well.
Also the soundtrack was nice and the puzzles are not too weird to figure out

I think most people think of Monkey Island games when they visualize old P&C adventures, but Day of the Tentacle is definitely up there. Maniac Mansion is probably a more underrated game in that respect.
