Garden Story

Little game in which you are a protector of the village - you fight monsters, collect resources, build little useful construction. It was nice, but a bit incoherent - the whole building and improving village mechanic was almost entirely optional, and I could go through the whole game ignoring halt of the mechanics.
The Lord of the Rings: War in the North
7/10
Old game, which today would be known as soul-like, except it was made long before the whole Souls-mania thing. I would say it aged suprisingly well, it clearly based on Lords of the Rings movies, but there is an original story, going simultaneously to the movies plot. It was quite a good story, gameplay was allright, even if enemies had a little too much HP, you can meet some important characters from the books… I can recommend it.
War in the North is great, right? How was your experience with the 2 trolls part? I had almost rage quit. :)
The one on snowy cliff? First time they demolished me, second time I let my AI friends take main part of the fight, while I was working on keeping them alive. I was playing as human. But this was exacly the part “little too much HP” was reffering to :D
It was at dwarven castle I think, something like protecting the gate. It was too easy for trolls to reach the gate. Though all trolls have too much HP in this game. :)
I passed that part after glitching out (trolls didn’t climb the stairs), and tried many times before that. :)
Oooooh - this one…. I thought about earlier part. Yeaaaaa, I think my trolls glitched on forth, or fifth attempt.
I almost rage quit but I wanted to finish the game as well so I kept trying and it glitched at some point. No idea how to pass that without glitch but I was thankful. -_-
Congratulations on your assassinations! We were all victims of the steam sale, one way or another. Looking forward to your comments on Stray Gods, I’m not sure if it’s for me but I’ve been eyeing it.
