I just discovered this site when I was looking for gaming and playalong challenges. It also brought me to Steamgifts which is great as I often have spare keys I need to get rid of.
My library is massive as I adopted Steam back when it was just used to distribute Counter-Strike and have been amassing games ever since. It took me quite a while to organize all my games, but it was a great way to reacquaint myself with what I have. There are games in there I’ve never played that I had forgotten about completely!
I’‘m going to start off with three games I’m working on - I was already in the middle of Island Off Outer Darkness, and I started working on Sonic and Sega All-Stars Racing and A Story About My Uncle. I forgot all about the theme when choosing. Oops!
Quickly glancing at my feed, there sure are some fancy looking posts. I have no idea what I’m doing so just plain text for now.
welcome! the fancy posts are made with HTML and markdown. for us mortals that barely understand a word of basic coding, there’s a site called BLAEO generators that you can make some fancy tidbits with! :D
Welcome and congrats! You are crushing it!
In addition to what people already said about the BLAEO Generators, AI is a godsend for post formatting. I always use it when something doesn’t work the way I expected and I’m too lazy to troubleshoot it haha
If you’re also stuck with choice paralysis, I recommend you join either PAGYWOSG or PoP. Both are gaming communities dedicated to helping you sort through your backlog with several incentives. I particularly love being part of both and they help make slow and steady progress on my library :)
Thank you! I’ll check them out.
Welcome to the site and SG. I am sure you will enjoy both places. If you want your games played on Steamgifts, there are many groups where the rule is to play a win within x months. (Like PoP, TalePlay and Playing Appriciated)
Enjoy playing :)
Thank you! I had been giving them away on Reddit but the whole Steamgifts process looks much simpler and it it would be nice to give them to people I know will actually play them.
Def check out those groups that I mentioned, they have a 1-3 month rule to beat the games and it’s so nice to see a giveaway being played (okay I am only 70% into all my wins but working on it)
