Finished The Tiny Bang Story. (3rd game for the monthly theme)
This was an sg win! 
And I really liked it! 
Game is both Point & Click and HOG, had it under my radar since long ago (it also had a place in my wishlist, I'd say one of the first additions) and it arrived just at the right time =P
Back to the game-wise talk, you'll encounter no words in this title. Aside from title and menù (ok ok, and some in-game decorations), no story, no descriptions, even helps are drawings. Which in some cases can be more helpful.
Graphic is really nice, a particular style that caught me since the first time I saw it. Even if is a title from 2011, there's not much "aging" in this kind of games :)
Sound is not bad, it helps creating that relaxed atmosphere. I think there was only one piece/track/song which upset me a bit, but it could also be my fault, because it was late, I was sleepy and needed to go to bed, which resulted in me being a bit susceptible.
The story, again, is not there. Period. You'll journey through these 5 levels with no hint on what's going on. Oh, and you'll never find out at the end of the game =P
I'm saying this because when I finished the game no credits rolled in. I thought that there could be a puzzle to solve I wasn't seeing so I searched a bit (discussions/videos/internet) and that was really the end. Basically you'll end up in a room with all the NPCs you met before and the possibility of replaying all the minigames. Not that story is a fundamental thing here: objects are hidden well and minigames are varied and will make you stop and think.. and I guess it's all that matters 
PS: Is the background annoying?

I like the background! :) As long as its “faded” like this and don’t obscure the text, it’s not annoying at all (in my opinion).

I’ll have to say the background is a bit annoying, I don’t enjoy distractions when reading. But don’t let me stop you from using it. :)
Just wait until Telltale does a game about that show =P
Honestly, I think it’s a bit annoying too (especially for the “story”), that’s why I asked.
I like it and I knew I had to made it less “intrusive” but at the same time didn’t want to break the original color scheme.. I’ll try to come up with something better next time =P
I can’t read it at all with my custom user style but my initial reaction was “WOAH SO COOL” so I really like it :3

I think in this case only solution is to drop invisible background in favor of a solid one and forcing text color
..or to not put background at all! =P

I used to do something similar years ago.. stopped when I changed laptop, don’t know why =P
