Hello everyone, new here so here’s my attempt at a first post! I’ve been checking the activities page every so often to gain some inspiration on how to structure this, so that’s still a work in progress and might change with time. Anyway, here’s hoping I’ll have fun here while getting through my backlog a bit faster this year :)

Some of the mechanics of this game were very fun, but there were some weaker areas especially near the end. I can see why people would love this game, so maybe metroidvanias just aren't my thing.

maybe metroidvanias just aren’t my thing
Yeah, I do love the Ori games, but they also made me realize its not a genre for me. I tried a few other metroidvanias and didn’t enjoy them.

Yeah similar experience then, personally I always find the maps confusing haha. Though one metroidvania that I absolutely loved is Animal Well, if you haven’t played it I’d recommend!
