First week of October

I was hopping to get 10 games done, but it just didn’t work out with the time. But I think 7 is still good enough :P

Completed SG wins

MegaRace 1
Playtime: 9 minutes
Achievements: 0 of 0
Review: Oh god, where do I even start. I guess with the fact that if you download it on Linux it doesn't actually download anything even if it claims it has Linux support (same on Mac supposedly) and it doesn't work with Proton out of the box either. The game itself is a shitty game from the 90s that hasn't aged well and I would suggest well avoiding it even if on Windows. The playtime didn't work either so I had to use an idler to get enough time to review. It doesn't work with Proton either.
Milford Heaven - Luken's Chronicles
Playtime: 3.3 hours

Review: Could have been an OK game, but it has one too many flaws: the type of combat (spam clicking on an enemy till it is dead and then repeating till they are all dead) doesn't really work on PC, would be better on a touch screen I feel; it is buggy with dumb RNG and it is also frustrating IMO - nobody likes to keep on dying and reloading a save because they simply got nothing to health with and the RNG screwed them over.

Other completed games

Mystery Masters: Psycho Train Deluxe Edition
Playtime: 3.6 hours
Achievements: 0 of 0 (100%)
Review: It was one of those HOGs that for me just feel like they drag on forever and just wont end so it was quite a meh one. Works fine with Proton.
12 Labours of Hercules VII: Fleecing the Fleece
Playtime: 12.4 hours
Achievements: 24 of 24 (100%)
Review: It is another really nice clear the road type of management game. My only complaint is the stupid "Beat a Developer's Record 20 Times" achievement which is just a needless pain in the butt... I wish they would stop adding them. Works fine with Proton.
Path of Sin: Greed
Playtime: 4.1 hours
Achievements: 16 of 16 (100%)
Review: A good Artifex Mundi HOG. It was really nice. I guess the only bad thing I can say is that the Linux version didn't work for me, but my install is currently beyond busted and I don't think it is actually the game but my PC. It did work just fine with running it through Proton.
12 Labours of Hercules IX: A Hero's Moonwalk
Playtime: 15.3 hours
Achievements: 24 of 24 (100%)
Review: Gotta love playing games completely out of order. Dunno if it is just me getting sick of these at this point or is the additional features added to the game, but this one actually managed to piss me off at some point and I didn't enjoy it anywhere as much. It still has those dumb, annoying beat the developer time achievements too. Works fine with Proton.
100 hidden birds 2
Playtime: 27 minutes
Achievements: 100 of 100 (100%)
Review: yay another 100 hidden X game came out :D This one, just like the first bird one was one of the more challenging ones and I did very much enjoy it. Works fine with Proton.

aw no, well im having the same thing happen with my dharker studio games. Brought one already this month only to buy 2 more yesterday! Doesn’t say there is another one coming out until next year but I also didn’t expect 2 more games either. Were on 2 endless cycles of buying games. Im in to deep to just back out now and say im keeping my money. Like I just gotta keep pushing cash towards the bundle and hope for a break!

MouseWithBeer
