How did you like Gorogoa? Have it on wishlist on GoG, looks peculiar. o_o
Oh, the Tiny Book Shop looks adorable! Thanks for the tip. ;D

Yekhus

I really loved Gorogoa! I think that it’s a masterpiece, not just in how it pushes the medium, with visuals, audio and interaction conveying interesting emotions and feelings, but the puzzle aspects are challenging enough to make it really engaging, rewarding and satisfactory. Short and sweet!

As for Tiny Book Shop, the demo felt really nice! While relaxing, I got hooked enough on the gameplay loop that I really wanted to keep going when the demo ended. I really hope that they nail it for the full game, and I might just adopt it for my cozy/relaxing gaming times. If you play the demo, I’d love to read your thoughts and feelings, if you feel like sharing.

Kyrrelin

Ha, seems like a good decision to have it on whishlist! ;D

Thanks for sharing your thoughts! Will keep my eyes on it. :3
Oh, my schedule is a little bit tight right now, not sure if I will have time to try it - but if I do, I will let you know! ;)

Congratz, also completed Borderlands but the 2nd on epic this month, still have Borderlands Pre-Sequel + 3 + Tiny Tina’s Wonderlands on epic on my backlog …

Yekhus

Thanks! Having played all except Presequel and Tiny Tina’s, Borderlands 2 is the best in the series by far. But 3 is also a really fun ride. I’m taking a long time to beat it simply because it’s not easy to get together with the 2 friends I’m playing it through with. But we are getting close to the end, I think. And then I feel like maybe doing some collections and secondaries on my own, at a faster pace. Just to get a more regular dose of Borderlands.

Your poor backlog…
How did you like Escape from Mystwood Mansion? I have it on my WL because it seems similar to The Inheritance of Crimson Manor. Love puzzle rooms!

Yekhus

Yes! My backlog is just hopeless :D. I did give it a good push with short games, first half of the month, but then spent 3 weeks barely playing at all.

Mystwood Manor was great! I got hooked and had to finish it in one sitting. A very nice escape room experience. I haven’t done too many of them, so don’t know if you’d find it too easy. But to me, the range of puzzle difficulties was pretty good, with only a couple that got me stuck for longer. I seem to remember that I only had to look one of them up.

Didn’t know The Inheritance of Crimson Manor, so will look it up. Thanks!

Zelrune

oooh please play it if you get a chance! While it was challenging it wasn’t too difficult and the ending was really worth working toward. There is also The Painscreek Killings, it’s similar to a puzzle room but across a whole town - don’t be intimidated though. It was super fun and the creators let me get into WAY more places than I thought they would let me snoop into. There was only one jumpscare, when a breaker tripped and the lights flickered out in a building but there are no real enemies, though the ending was slightly complicated.

Yekhus

Thanks for the recommendations! Crimson Manor and Painscreek Killings are now on my wishlist. I’ll know what to turn to if I get an escape room itch.
