- This month renovations works and the terrible heat, not so optimistic about July either but we’ll see.
Mostly completed or played - June 2026
- Disappointed by Chants of Senaar, linear and puzzle-oriented. Didn't get the sense of discovery and exploration from Heaven's Vault.- Nutmeg was super fun ! Grindy but it has a good pace, and it's probably the most accessible soccer management game.
NUTMEG! A Nostalgic Deckbuilding Football Manager

June/July theme - Beach Read
- IS Defense is shit, no surprise, but for 1€ oh well- Loddlenaut was grindy but surprisingly relaxing. I don’t have the motivation to evolve all the cute little creatures but still had some good fun cleaning the ocean.
In progress - plan for next month
Have fun for next month !
Nutmeg is giving the same vibes as me opening the world cup sticker packs right now haha.
Cool assassinations!
Thank you very much ! :D
That’s exactly what the game is all about : soccer + collecting upgrading cards, just the thought of it stirs something up ! :p
Only negative is the absence of portraits, probably because of legal rights, sad because with portraits it would have been even more Panini cards effects !
aaah I’m doing Chants this month!!
What did you like about Heaven’s vault? the game length always put me off.
Heaven’s Vault is my favorite game ! ^^
- It’s an archaeological exploration game featuring a translation minigame. There’s nothing to memorize, you simply choose the correct words from 3-4 options each time, to reveal parts of sentences.
- The words are discovered really naturally, you never need a walkthrough contrary to Chants of Senaar that is almost like a harsh point’n’click
- The game is 100% non-violent, no gloomy ambiance no monster in the darkness, and the places you discover are fantastic, you really feel like an archaeologist who has just arrived somewhere no one else has ever set foot. No other game gave me this feeling, except maybe a bit Curious Expedition, Starbound and No Man’s Sky. But Heaven’s Vault is far better because it has a real story with a strong lore to unfold.
Downside : Slow rythm, and your heroin walks extra-slow, she doesn’t know how to run and fast travel is extremely limited
Congratulations for all that sweet progress!
I haven’t played either Chants of Senaar or Heaven’s Vault, but why did you compare them? From everything I’ve heard and read, HV sets a very high bar!
Thank you ! I’d read some reviews of Chants of Senaar that compared it favourably to Heaven’s Vault, and i was in the mood for some fun language-based game. It wasn’t that but i guess those who liked Chants of Senaar are really puzzles-enjoyer.

Loddlenaut is just a really charming little game, I liked it a lot when I played it. :3 Very chill.
That’s a surprise about Chants of Sennaar, I’ve heard good things about it. :o Is it too linear?
Yeah i was surprised too that Loddlenaut was a good mix of chill + addictive ;)
Unfortunately yes for Chants of Senaar, it’s totally linear. In a way i guess that was to be expected from a game where you climb a tower, but even the languages deciphering is a puzzle and became a chore. Not like Heaven’s Vault that feels much more like archeology exploring planets + linguistic (not puzzle) assembling the words
Ah, I do own Heaven’s Vault, perhaps I’ll give that a try some day in the future. :3
