First week of May

Oh god it is already May D: After a lot of idling I have managed to complete one single game >.>

Completed SG win

  • Tap Heroes

    158 hours playtime

    50 of 50 achievements

Tap Heroes - Pretty meh clicker/idle game. The really annyoing part about this one is that you have to actually keep it open on idle for a really really long time (~140 hours minimum). I am glad I can finally put it in the complete pile.

Look into the past

Abyss: The Wraiths of Eden - Completed in February 2017. Pretty decent Artifex Mundi HOG.

Fairy Tale Mysteries: The Puppet Thief - Completed in February 2017. Wasn’t too big of a fan of this one, but it is still a Artifex Mundi HOG.

Enigmatis: The Ghosts of Maple Creek - Completed in February 2017. And yet another HOG, this one is pretty nice.

Lost Lands: A Hidden Object Adventure - Completed in February 2017. You thought it would be the end to HOGs? Nope and they now have energy bars aka don’t play this shit and rather get a proper one.

Enigmatis 3: The Shadow of Karkhala - Completed in February 2017. Yep, yet another Artifex Mundi HOG. The scenery of this one is absolutely great and the game itself it is not bad either.

ANKI - Completed in February 2017. Pretty meh platformer and it doesn’t look good either.

Teddy Floppy Ear - Kayaking - Completed in February 2017. Kids game so I probably should not be playing this, but I found it very relaxing in some weird way.

Teddy Floppy Ear - Mountain Adventure - Completed in February 2017. See above.

The Hidden Dragon - Completed in February 2017. A hidden object game for kids. It wouldn’t be too bad if it wouldn’t be repetitive as hell.

Hell Girls - Completed in March 2017. Ignoring the omfg boobs part I will never understand as a straight woman, it is a decent match 3 game with fighting mechanics.

You played a LOT of hidden object games last February! Was there an occasion or did it just kind of happen?

Re: Lost Lands: Energy bars? Like… you can only do so many actions in a row, and then you had to wait? That sounds awful!
re: Hell Girls: Yeah, as a bisexual woman I don’t get that either.

Sometimes the reward of completing a game is now you never have to play it again! I’m glad you got to that with Tap Heroes.

MouseWithBeer

I just felt like playing HOGs I guess, no special occasion. I tend to have phases when I really wanna play those.

Yep, exactly that, it was awful, but not as awful as Wanderland I have been trying to complete for over a year and half and I am still nowhere to being done :/
I guess you can’t have boobs yourself to understand :P

Indeed! It was extremely satisfying to set it as completed on BLAEO :3

I actually enjoyed Tap Heroes quite a lot. :3 But that could be because I don’t mind idling. Also it’s got a cute charm to it that I like.
You found Teddy Floppy Ears to be relaxing? 0-0 I just find it to be annoying and boring. xD I still have The Race in my library so I’m bound to play it at some point, although I’m not looking forward to it at all. :P

MouseWithBeer

I wouldn’t mind the idling too much if:

1) opening Killing Floor 2 or Overwatch wouldn’t make the game freak out, screw with the windowed resolution and register random clicks that shouldn’t be registered (I somehow bought 90 health potions while playing KF2 even tho I never tabbed out or anything)
2) wouldn’t make me basically unable to use my PC while doing the 250K clicks achievement (I did it mostly while I was out of the house, but still frustrating)
3) my autoclicker made with my keyboards macro software would work. It works with every other game I have ever tried and makes exactly 0 sense why it dosn’t with this one.

If it wouldn’t be for all this nonsense I would probably like it too.

It was a bit boring but since I play a lot of shooters it was nice to sit down and play a game where everything doens’t wanna murder you. The only thing that annoyed me was the slow movement. I got The Race in my backlog as well, I need to get to it someday.

1)2) Ah, I understand the pain. For me I just idled them while I go to sleep/go to school, so it’s all fine for me.
3) Odd. I know that some macro software made autoclicker doesn’t work with certain games. For me I use my mouse(logitech)’s macro and Tap Heroes does register it, however “Plantera” and “My Name is Mayo” doesn’t recognize it at all, and “Zombidle” recognizes it in a weird way that only clicking for damage is registered, but not for clicking villagers. So I know full well how annoying it is. Guess it’s just different games responds to inputs differently.

Arg the slow movement is super annoying. That’s what I dislike so much about Point and Click games. And in Moutain Adventure there’s quite a bit of backtracking which makes it worse. :<

I have my PC in my bedroom so having it on while I sleep is not really an option nor can I be arsed to turn it on before going to work.
Interesting, mine worked with Plantera and its particularly weird because it is from the same dev. I haven’t played the other 2 so can’t comment on that. Would be nice to have all games register it the same, but you can’t have everything in life I guess :D

Pro tip: never play a game called Bayou Island. I almost lost my shit at it because the movement was so damn slow
