Gamingwise, not much has been going on this month, but a lot of social stuff happened, which was also nice! And my steamdeck arrived and so far I am really happy with it (I haven’t been playing extensively on it yet, thou…)

So 100 hidden turtles was nice, Ever seen a cat? was not too great. both are simple HOGs. Secret Order 2 was also not very exciting and where is the first game anyway? Pickle Clicker is a free, rudimentary clicker, where you have to - you can probably guess this - click a pickle, can’t really recommend it in its current state, but the dev is still working on it, so who knows? I enjoyed Aperture Desk Job, which is a short, but lovely made demo for the steamdeck. Wordle 4 was by far the easiest entry of the series so far and thus a bit boring. Solitairica has a quite simple mechanic, but I got hooked immediately and will definitely go for the full completion here! Annie and the Art Gallery is the only other free game that I finished this month: gameplay was okay, but the story was very lacking in my opinion. For the rest of the achievements, you would need another playthrough so I just might not get them^^. Bioshock 2 is really nice, but I didn’t quite get in the mood this time, so i might postpone this one a bit more.
That was relatively much complaining from my side this month :D But anyway, I hope you all will have a nice Spooktober!
Congratulations on all of your assassinations! Aperture desk job looks interesting, I’m a bit disappointed you can’t play with a keyboard and mouse though? Odd decision.
well, it’s kind of a demo for the steam deck, to give an overview over the controls and such and not so much of a game. So I think in this case, the choice makes sense. But normally I would also think that you should have the possibility to use keyboard and mouse, of course!
Bioshock 2 is really nice, but I didn’t quite get in the mood this time, so i might postpone this one a bit more.
Yeah Bioshock 2 for me is the worst of the series. I enjoy the first one much more, with Infinite being my favorite. The gameplay is a lot of fun in 2 though so hopefully it gets better for you! Also congrats on getting the steam deck! I’m getting mine on my next pay check so its good to hear that its good quality.
From what I’ve read, the first The Secret Order is (was?) only available on some other platform (you know the ones, they usually focus on selling just casual games); not that that’s a satisfying explanation or anything…
