I’m back for my yearly post! Seriously though, I keep forgetting about this site.

I didn’t make much progress since my last month post. Stopped playing Fight the Dragon all together and played Binding of Isaac: Rebirth almost exclusively (Which I now own thanks to the kindness of Taigo!). Recently I convinced my mum to buy an integrated graphics card for her new pc, so for the vacations I’ll be able to play some of the most graphic heavy games. Of course, I’m only using it for Fallout 4, because I love wasted potential.

I will try to 100% it, but I only bought the base game and some of the achievements probably require the dlcs (goddamit bethesda!).
Fallout 4

They added a new expansion for BoI, supposibly the last one, since now they will do a monthly update adding some of the mods made by the community officially to the game.
I swear to god the new chapters are FUCKING BULLSHIT. The new end game boss has a 50/50 CHANCE TO SPAWN. You could play it forever and never get to it (technically). It also feels very lazy. Instead of new powers and patterns it just moves randomly through the screen at supersonic speeds, it’s really hard not to get hit, especially if you have low range. So yeah, time to put another 300 hours into it if I expect to 100% it.
BoI

Finally for a game I actually finished and completed, I bought the third tier of the Overwhelmingly Positive Humble Bundle, and decided to try Pony Island. 4 hours and a guide later, I got everything in game. Yay me!
Pony Island

That was it for me. Maybe I’ll try some of the monthly theme games. I tried finishing Batman: Arkham Asylum on a previus monthly theme, but I didn’t reach the deadline, so I dropped it. I’m only missing the challenges, and I still have it installed, so that will probably be my next 100%.

If you’d like, I can slap your face every month and get you to post an update.

Max Mnemonic

I’d like that very much.

Why is every whining when DLCs have achievements. They add a lot to the game. I would have never build an arena in one of my settlements without the achievement ;)
Seriously, the Season Pass is well worth the 30$ on sale. Currently playing the game and already have played over 100 hours and haven’t even touched Nuka World and not finished with the Base game. Only played the DLCs Far Harbor, Automatron and Vault-Tec. Build some of the stuff of the two Workshop DLCs, but now ran out of material ;)

Fallen Kal

Fallout 4 only has 50 base game achievements, 34 are from the DLCs. Still waiting for the Season Pass to drop to somewhere around 20~25€, which is what it’s actually worth IMHO. 50€ for crappy DLC, douchey move Bethesda, douchey move.

How is the DLC of Binding of Isaac (love that game) ? The reviews are pretty bad :/ Congrats anyway :) (Pony Island was funny :D)

Max Mnemonic

I personally like it a lot. I didn’t fully experience it but after the initial impressions of the new bosses you get used to them and it’s not that bad. The new items (the ones I encountered) are awesome. I’d buy it if I were you.

I was really into Pony Island, but I got stuck somewhere around level 3. I gave up after wandering around forever not knowing where to go. Would you recommend I get back into it or am I not really missing much?

Max Mnemonic

Pony Island seems more like an experience than a game, so if you enjoyed it so far I’d definitely suggest you finish it. You could look up for a guide, but from my experience the game carries you in the 3 (I think) times where you have to wander aimlessly through a map, so maybe you just missed something.
