It’s that time of the year again: Time to nominate the top games of 2025*! Make sure to return between December 23 and 31 to vote for your absolute favorites. Let’s see which games were most loved by the BLAEO community!

The timeline for this event:
1 December - 22 December: Nomination phase
23 December - 31 December: Voting phase
31 December: The winners are announced

• Most Value for Money
• Best Game Under $20
• Best Addition to an Existing Series

• Prettiest Game
• Best Soundtrack
• Best DLC
• Best Early Access Game
• Best Underdog/Hidden Gem
• Best Character
• Best Console Exclusive
• Best Mobile Game
• Best Remaster/Remake/Port
• new: Best Quote

Nomination Phase

To nominate your favourite game(s) simply respond to the category comment(s) with a list of games you want to nominate in that category. Only nominations posted under the relevant category comments will count. You can add your thoughts on the games in these posts or create a separate comment to tell us more about the games you’ve played (just make sure that you also post your nominations under the relevant categories).

Please include games even if they have already been mentioned by other users. We might not be able to include every proposed game in the final vote and seeing how popular the games are will make it easier for us to make the final selection.
In a similar way we might not include all the categories in the final vote if there’s an obvious lack of interest/proposed games.

Guidelines for nominating games:

• * Only games released for the first time between 1 December 2024 and 30 November 2025 can be nominated.
• Remasters/remakes/ports can only be nominated in the "Best Remake/Remaster/Port" category.
• Best DLC category: the DLC needs to have been released between 1 December 2024 and 30 November 2025 but the game can be older.
• Best Early Access Game category: added to EA *or* left EA between 1 December 2024 and 30 November 2025.
• Games that are still in Early Access can only be nominated in the Best Early Access Game category.
• The best quote can be any text from a game that was released between 1 December 2024 and 30 November 2025 that moved you, made you laugh, think or see the game in a new light. Please mention the game and the quote (if you have it, feel free to also add a link to a screenshot or video).

You can edit your post(s) with the nominations at any point before 23 December to add/remove nominations.

You can nominate a maximum of 5 games in each category.

You don't need to nominate games in each category.

You can nominate the same game in multiple categories.
