I have completed these games (which were all chosen by the dice):

I don’t feel like writing a lot about each of them, so I’ll just point out my favourites: I liked Valley, even though it was nothing special, it was quite relaxing and not too exhausting, so perfect for evenings after a long work day. Agent A was fun, the puzzles were not too hard, but also not way too easy, so I was motivated to keep playing. equilinox was a cute and fun game where you had to build different biotopes and evolve plants and animals and since I like animals I enjoyed it very much :D

Next up are the games I was challenged to play by Ninglor03 (ty!) in this month’s Challenge Me!-Event (I chose to go from shortest to longest playtime):

I’ve already started and beaten The Uncertain but unfortunately missed one achievement in my first playthrough, so I’m in for another round… Then comes Glass Masquerade and after that my second tries at Life is Strange: Before the Storm and Assassin’s Creed. And finally, Summer in Mara which I’m really looking forward to (saving the best for last)! Wish me luck! :D

I don’t know if I would call that tiny…seems more than just tiny progress to me! 6 completed games, another one almost completed. Not bad! Agent A has a great artistical style, very pleasing to look at.

How did you like The Uncertain? Would you recommend it?

mordsmiez

It isn’t my cup of tea to be honest. There are no real puzzles to solve, just some rather tedious minigames and you have to do things in a certain order (e.g. you have to know you need a brick before you can pick up the brick)… so I wouldn’t recommend it. Atmosphere and story is okay though!

Vito

Thanks for the reply! That sounds a bit tedious indeed…

Trent

FWIW, I liked The Uncertain…thought I don’t remember much about it! Also I’m pretty easy to please on games of that genre.

Vito

Noted! Thanks for the different perspective…With those two differing opinions I’ll have to keep an open mind about the game :)

Cece09

Oh sucks that you missed an achievement, plus that is the type where you cant just easily get to the point as you gotta explore every note
Also dang yeah 6 games is a decent amount in 10 days, I thought its been a while not just recently XD

mordsmiez

Yea, I think I missed one note. Very annoying :/

Trent

Lots of good games there! It’s so rare that I see so many games I’ve actually played on somebody’s update.
I loved Little Misfortune and really enjoyed Agent A also. I liked Rusty Lake Hotel and am annoyed that they added achievements just a few months after I beat it!
I have Valley in my backlog…it looks really good, though I guess I’ll need a walkthrough for all the collectibles/upgrades/etc. I actually liked The Uncertain and picked up the sequel, and of course Glass Masquerade was so pretty. I actually really liked LiS:BtS too even though ofc it wasn’t as amazing as the original. I have the original AC in my backlog and Summer of Mara in my alt’s backlog…

So great games and great progress! Thanks for the report!

mordsmiez

Hey, concerning Valley, I played it through first and then used a walkthrough to get the collectibles I missed. You can return to every chapter in the game, so it wasn’t tedious at all :) I really enjoyed Glass Masquerade, might pick up the DLCs some time.

Trent

That’s good to know…I love a good chapter select!
