I finally want this semester to be over because I need a break uù Studying online is a lot of work and I already do much less than I did in the beginning which is also why I don’t want this semester to be over soon :’D Procrastination at it’s best~
Also my cat is ill. Again. I went to the vet like every week and every time she has a new illness uù A few months ago she started to scratch up the whole area of her ears and a very rare infection got through her wounds causing her ears to even more itching. She had to wear a collar for WEEKS (although it was cute and sad at once because she always bumped against the wall and therefore thought that she can’t get through the wide open door.) Now this was finally treated and healed but then she got a huge wound on her back I have no idea where she got that from. And now she has something with her eye ._. My cat never was the healthiest and we visit the vet a lot but the last few months were horror. She could be alright for a week at least, could she not? :’)
Beside that everything is fine. I found someone who loves my crochet work and he wants to buy a lot. Rn I’m working on an Arcanine for him which is already the third Pokemon he wants from me. I don’t care if I get money or gift my work away but it always makes me happy if my work brings someone joy :3 I also crochet a lot more if I know that it makes someone happy instead of me just decorating my own apartment.

How come you abandoned Deiland?
Ikr? I still can’t believe it myself but I just HATED the controls. I was so annoyed the whole time I couldn’t enjoy anything at all and finally abandoned it highly frustrated.
:( Did you play it with mouse+keyboard or a controller? So I can use the opposite when I get around to playing it and hopefully that’ll help. :I Was it alright besides the controls?
I played with a controller (and I remember that it’s not possible to remap or to switch between controller and keyboard when your ingame?) but tbf my friend who played it didn’t had any problems with it so it might just be me :’) The game still has it’s flaws like real life counters until your crops grow so you stand there and wait up to 10 minutes but overall it was cute. If it wasn’t for the controls I may would have also dealt with it’s flaws I guess
Sorry to hear about your cat, hope she get better! My little lady has also slight problems with her eyes time to time. I think it’s because she always push her head into cactus or tiny places or when she fights with her brother. Vet gave us drops and they have really helped her quickly, although she really hates it (but well, I don’t like to drop something into my eyes either). Best part was, that those drops are actually for us, humans, as I had them once, so now we are taking it together. XD
That actually sounds just like my cat! I think she somehow hurt her eye while fighting with some boxes and we also got some drops (but only for animals xD). It helped quickly indeed; sadly my cat got stupid and decided that it would be a good idea do scratch her eye until it starts bleeding :’) So it’s even thicker now and looks horrible and she has to wear a pet cone again. At least she actually likes to get the drops in her eye because she knows she’ll get treats right after that :’D
Sooo… do you want the semester to end or not? I’m confused now :D
I feel for your cat :( My dog hasn’t got it nearly as bad, but I suppose now I know how it is when a pet requires more attention than it did in the past…

Yes, she becomes old :/ But she also is very tough and doesn’t want anything to hold her down!

It was alright a while ago! Even though it’s old… recently she started peeing in the kitchen, which we somehow often don’t notice until later. She’s had problems with her back legs, which we can only assume is because of the cancer she’s had for a few years now. Oh, and for some reason now she doesn’t want to eat anything else than vienna sausages.
Oh no that sounds horrible as well :/ I hope she’ll eat properly again soon but at least you found something that she still eats. I wish you and your dog all the best :< It’s always so hard when an animal gets ill and you’re helpless about it.
It might be because summer started and normal dog food spoils easily (she could only eat wet food for a while now because she lost all her teeth), but then again… this makes me seem like a super bad owner… ;_; Yeah, there’s nothing better to do than just… wait, I suppose.
I don’t think you’re a bad owner! You care a lot for her and I bet she knows. In the end that’s what matters the most. But yeah I know about the problems with spoiled animal food too well uù
How old is your dog?
At this point I just don’t know… she’s been a super scaredy-cat forever, and now this is only heightened by her disease, so it’s really tough to deal with her nicely. But that’s probably just cause I’m super impatient :/
Oh, and I don’t actually know! I think I was somewhere around three years old when we got her, and she was just a puppy then, so she might be somewhere between 16/17 years old - super old for a dog her size, I’m pretty sure.
And frustration too I suppose u.u I feel you there. You only want the best but that’s beyond pet’s understanding.
Holy, that’s old indeed! Sadly animal’s get even more sick when the get older and there’s almost nothing you can do about it :/ I’m also afraid of when my cat becomes a senior. Stay strong, all of you ♥
Thank you and all the same to you! Now I even recalled that it really stuck with me how an ex-friend came over a few years ago, started petting my dog, turned to me and went “It’s probably gonna be her time soon, yeah?”, and yet she’s continued living all those years since then. I can’t help but mentally show her all the middle fingers I could possibly imagine. No matter how delicately she might have thought she approached that, it’s not okay to say when even me and my mom don’t want to think, much less talk about it.

I’m sure she wouldn’t have liked me petting the dog she got some time after that and going “You do know this dog’s gonna die before you do?”, cause honestly, wow.
But yeah, we’re trying our best here, day by day.
