Middle-earth™: Shadow of Mordor™

55.5 hours, 74 of 74 achievements

What a fantastic game. The combat, abilities, animations, the way the world was built, nemesis system, graphics. Everything was just so damn good!

I won this game on SG two years ago, downloaded it right away and played through most of the campaign and then I dropped it. Couple of days ago I picked it up again with the intention of finishing the main campaign and then uninstalling the game since it consumes so much space. But once I was done with the campaign, since I enjoyed the game so much I went for the DLC campaigns, which I liked quite a bit even though I was worried at first because so many people said they’re bad or too hard in steam reviews.

Once I finished them I had only 13 achievements missing, considering how much I got into the game I decided I’ll spend more time on it hunting for the achievements, even though I knew some of them are going to be pain in the ass to get. “The Hunt is my Mistress” took me like half a day to get, and it was rather frustrating.

Now that the game is 100%’d I can uninstall it without regret and free the 55GB of space it was consuming for these two years.

Congrats on 100% this! I also really enjoyed this game. I could spend all day taking out the ranks! I hope the sequel is also good since they removed those useless micro-transactions.

I just took a look at the store page for the sequel and wowed at that price. 100€ for the full game and the DLC’s have either mixed or mostly negative reviews, ouch.
At least ES shows the lowest historical price for the Gold Edition was 25€ so I guess the game is affordable during discounts.

wow I didn’t even see the price and reviews until you pointed it out. I’ll wait until its 15 bucks like the first game lmao

taking a que from tsuper I see :eyes:

I played this for a few hours straight (twice) and then…just dropped it
wondering if I should pick it up again some time

What do you mean with your first sentence?

Shadow of Mordor keeps getting better as you progress through the story and unlock new abilities and with them different ways to deal with Uruks and the Nemesis system. So I think it might be worth giving it another try to see will the game get more fun for you once you have more abilities at your disposal.
