Did you like Vampyr? It’s been on my radar but I don’t here much about it.

Yeah it is a good game. The atmosphere is splendid. I loved the main character and the npcs are interesting as well, if you find out the necessary information to unlock their conversation topic. Although a lot of people have complained about the combat mechanics, I personally did not have much problem. But I have to agree that it is a bit lanky. The game becomes significantly more difficult if you are going for a pacifist run, so I would not recommend doing it on your first playthrough. Also the conversation aspect of the game becomes a bit useless in a pacifist run, as you won’t be getting the xp for embracing the particular npc. But all-in-all, I would say this game definitely deserves atleast 1 playthrough, for anyone mildly interested in vampire or rpg games.

thanks, sounds like something I’d like. I don’t mind bad or lanky combat that much so it won’t be to much of an issue for me. I’ll def get it next sale ^-^

10 games, that’s not bad for a month. And all of them even completed, not only beaten. Nice progress!

Thank you! All these games are really good as well! I would highly recommend all of them, well, expect for Odysseus Kosmos. That game really tested my patience. Especially during the last 2 episodes.

I was about to ask about Vampyr, but stef beat me to it. Thoughts on Killer is Dead? Been eying it.

Well, when it comes to Killer is Dead, I both loved and hated it haha I loved the combat, which is the meat of the game. It is not too difficult. The bosses are all different from one another and that’s where your skill will come into play. But it is still very enjoyable, even if you are having a bit difficulty figuring out how to beat the boss. I absolutely loved the art-style of the game! I honestly can’t praise it enough. Definitely one of the favorite. The story is very bare-bones but it will still make you invested in each mission. The game is very short as well. Should take you about 7-8hrs to complete your first playthrough.

Now the part when I started hating it, and it will only matter if you are trying to 100%. The game is extremely grind heavy. Some achievements are related to you earning/spending money and the most optimal way of earning the most amount of money is grinding a single mission over and over and over again. Out of the 25 hours, I think I played that particular mission for around 5 hours. Then comes the part where you try to unlock those achievements, the achievements related to the “beauties”. It’s basically taking some girls out to date, in order to fu………I mean get gifts from them. You have to get 25 gifts (its A LOT) from them and I got frustrated by going on “dates” with these hot girls, because its the same mini-game over and over again. Kinda like real life :P

Interesting, thanks. I’ll keep in mind not to even attempt to 100% it if it’s such a shore.

Never change, Japan.
