Late Wrap up to 2019
Okay So I Played 128 games in 2019 Which in a certain way of looking at it is alot however I still failed my gaming resolutions.
So my two resolutions from last year were to-
- Continue doing a PoP and a challenge me every month :3. I very nearly made this but dropped the ball the past 2-3 months.
- half my Unstarted and Unfinshed games this year. (from 80 down to 40) and (66 down to 33). Till augest I was doing okay...slightly off track but still playing a bunch of games. However by december I had barely made any change since augest. I half failed this one. My Unstarted Goal was met (I'm now at 40 games never played) but my Unfinished is still at 52 games. Because I didn't make my goal I want to reuse it for the upcomming year.
So Late New Years Resolutions for 2020. Halve both my Unfinished (52 to 26) and Unstarted (40 to 20). Experiance from my failed year lets me know It doesn't seem hard (only a combined 46 games) but Any game I buy ends up making that Unstarted marker go up and every game I start playing just swaps it to the Unfinished catagory making that marker go up. balancing the two is wild.
Finally My Pop for the past 3 months...I beat Kentucky Route Zero and 2064: Read Only Memories (along with the title by the same person later for todays month VA-11 Hall-A: Cyberpunk Bartender Action) but They Bleed pixels and Cook serve delicious have started getting too hard for my feeble self. Additionally I've been challenged to beat kona two months in a row but I'm really not having fun and from what I can tell I'm like only a 5th or a 4th of the way through it...when I'm already past its hltb time. Maybe that hltb time is for people who just speed through it with a guide idk I get lost wandering around the woods. I know Yakuza 0 is praised highly so I keep telling myself I'm going work on it but I keep not being in the specific mood to want to invest alot of time into it...
Not sure if you plan on trying to continue CSD (or how far you are), but if it is getting too hard you can always put menu rot items on your current menu to lower the buzz. Same with if it gets too high you have a bad day (getting bad/meh orders) it’ll also make the upcoming days easier with less buzz. And foods that take time to a multiple steps to cook (like fish) make it a lot easier during rush hour etc since it gives you more time to chill or work on other orders, you don’t have to send them right away. If you have no interest no worries, just figured I’d share some tips I learned from playing extreme difficulty as it heats up fast. haha
Looks like it was perfect timing for you, with the last act of Kentucky Route Zero to be released! Good luck with your goals this year, I feel you on Unfinished games. Kudos on all your progress though, you’ve played through the majority of your games which is awesome.
regular days are fine. I’m at my 5 star checklist and I’m more having troubles with the hunger games zero mistakes/ the master chef semi final/final…I’ve been adding the food I’m missing to regular days to practice them (can’t keep just putting the food I’m good at in every day like lobster fish etc) but still fail them.
am planning to continue but I hoped to finish it for this 3 month cycle and I have no chance of that now
How did you like the last episode of Kentucky Route Zero? I haven’t had time to play it yet since it’s just been released and I should probably re-play the rest of it first. :I

now I need to finish the last act tonight for it to count for my POP aaaaa

I spent last night playing though act 5 and It pretty much feels the same as the past 3 chapters in terms of my disintrest…
Like I “Play” it reading text moving around and then think “is that it? am I missing something?” and check online to see the top articles saying it has 100x simbolic messages and you can feel the emotion from burrying some horses
listen no one mentioned me finishing 2064: Read Only Memories … that was a good Visual novel/Point and click visual novel. I actually recommend it. Same with VA-11 Hall-A but like that one is a bit more animeish so less so on valhalla. In comparison to KRZ where I didn’t care about any of the characters they give enough feeling into the characters to make you intrested and invessted in them.

I still think you did pretty good. Beating 128 games in a year is… wow, that’s good! I wanted to beat 100 and failed o.o

I guess I should also make a PoP report or something. Yeah, I should do that for my next update thinking
And yeah, there are some games, where the hltb times just don’t make any sense at all! I tend to always go for the longest time noted down there but expect to take even longer than that. Dunno, I’m probably just a super slow gamer or I try to do everything. Even more so if I don’t start out with a guide and learn things while gaming. So yeah, the times rarely work out for me to start with. I’m keeping my fingers crossed, you’ll beat it soon enough though :)

Well as long as there are ppl just rushing through games with a guide, that will happen I guess. I try to correct stuff a bit by adding my own time xD
