Ninglors Log 180

Well another Batman down. This wasn't too pleasant though. I normally enjoy the Batman games - if I leave stupid fighting achievements or the fighting in general aside! - bc I can mostly do what I want, when I want. I can collect tons of stuff, try to catch every bad guy and hunt down collectables. I like that. But not so much in this one. Mostly probably bc it was more like… a 2D platform game - which I generally don't play! Plus the map was so ridiculous. I just don't know. It was a hassle finding my way around the place. Very annoying.
So instead of trying to at least solve all the cases, I just decided to finish it at some point an be done with it. Let's be realistic here: It's not as if I'd ever manage the 100 combo anyways. So: DONE!

I had a blast with the start of this one! I laughed a lot and had a pretty good time with it. Until… until there was this turning point and everything went downhill. So if you read this review and still don't know what the game is about, I'm very sorry to spoil you, but too bad grins
I thought it was rather disturbing witnessing how the MC turned into a killer. I mean he not only set out to kill one person, but started cursing more and more ppl. Which… was rather unsettling. Still not as much as when Rena went nuts I guess. Man, I sometimes do wonder why I keep going. But then… I want to understand. Something at least! I just hope there is some kind of… well, I dunno explanation. But probably that's too much to ask O.O
Oh btw. I play it with the mod, right? So I had to deinstall the whole thing and download it again and then skip through all the hints to get the related achievement. It somehow didn't pop up with the mod, while everything else did o.O

Oh my god, I love this game!
I really do! It's so purretty! And the story is awesome! And it's fun seeing Daphné change throughout the game and how differently things turn out considering what you choose. It's somehow different than with other VNs and choices you make with them. Actually I constantly checked the length of her hair and stuff, which was really funny.
Sadly there is no skip function, but then… it's a rather short game, so never mind.
Another not so well made thing: I personally think the English translations is at times… a bit… I dunno, rude? Mostly the actual speaking of the characters. It's ok, I got used to it, but… it's not really pretty. And overall the writing is very nice!
