That’s a ton of beaten. What was your favorite game this April?

Moony1986
Uh Zel asking the tough questions :D
I think I can’t say one game as there were several I highly enjoyed. So my favorites in alphabetical order:
- Celeste
- Cult of the Lamb
- Little Kitty, Big City
- Planet of Lana
- SteamWorld Dig 2
- The Legend of Tianding
Congratulations! Wow, 39 beaten in a month! Is that a record? If not, I guess it should be close, and is damn impressive!
Oh I don’t think so, I had more when I did more shorter games. But Cece did over 100 several times so it’s not even near :D
This month it will be less as I have several longer games on my todo list.
Oh, I see. That brings up an interesting point: game count stats don’t do fair justice to the completion of longer games. Ever thought of also tracking gaming time?
yes that’s what I mean. I haven’t tracked it yet but the real interesting stat would be how many hours of backlog I removed and added in a month to see if I really made progress.
I calculated it for this year just for fun and these are the results. Backlog added time based on Main + Extra and I didn’t count idle games in both:
Beaten/Completed games/DLCs: about 1000 hours
Added Games: about 150 hours
Added DLCs: about 250 hours (all Pixel Puzzle Ultimate DLCs, calculated them with about 15 hours each)
Cool! That’s very interesting to see. Until now, I only track total backlog time, and per category (total, completed, beaten, unfinished, discarded, unplayed), and I also track how much total play-time I put in per month (so that I don’t plan to play more than I can chew): about 25h is a good-month average, with the occasional one going up to 35, and some as low as 7 or 8. That’s very far from your 1000 a year! Impressive stats, as always. :)
