Second week of January
I am writing this post a bit late than usual because last week was … hmmmm… interesting? Together with some other people I got smacked with a game ban in KF2 for doing exactly nothing wrong (thanks Tripwire, I hope you get a lot of shit from Valve for violating their ToS), but as of an hour ago the bans have been finally lifted \o/ Use this as a reminder that while it is very rare, false bans do actually happen so think before you decide to forever label someone as a cheater (I got to read some nasty stuff while I was banned).
You have no idea how happy I am right now, but last week after I got banned it kinda killed all my joy I had for gaming so there is only 2 games completed.

Review: Not the best VN I have played but it didn't fall in the "please make this stop category" and "OMG this is so creepy" categories. Seems to have 4 endings in total and one of them is so godamn stupid it is funny again. Also I think this is not the first game in the series but I didn't have any problems with it being the first one I played.

Review: Was gifted this as a joke from a friend. Well jokes on him, I actually played it. Actually, the joke is probably on me for playing it. It is a very basic puzzle game with 10 not very challenging levels. All the images are less than tasty too, at least to me as a straight woman.
Wondered what happened when I noticed your ban, thought it was very strange that you would be considering how I’ve seen you come across. But I’m glad you got it removed and yeah from your bunny bounce review. It goes Beach, Beauty then Bunny. However you can really play them in whatever order (well guessing for bunny since havent played it) since it completely ignores the fact of the past games endings, but looking on achievements I see it mainly focus’s on the one girl Yuuki which honestly doesn’t surprise me from reading the last two that it would focus on her
Yea I would never actually cheat, there is no fun in that. I was just in the wrong place at the wrong time. Thankfully getting unbanned took a lot less effort than I thought would be at first.
Yea I guessed Beach was before but I did not know about Beauty. I need to get my hands on those at some point so I can know more about the story. Mhm you can only end up with Yuuki (or no one), would have been nice to have more options, but then again I have no idea what happened in the first 2 games.
I dont mind cheating when its by yourself, when you are doing it on multiplayer though thats when it becomes a problem. Even through family sharing if you cheat you can actually get yourself and the person your getting it from vac banned. Like I get if you just do the one who cheated but to involve others who was as you put it in the wrong place at the wrong time or being nice and sharing is just plain old wrong
Yeah that is weird they made it just for her. The others didnt have much else. Beach bounce introduces the characters where you take over this beach resort/part thing, Then in beauty they brung out more characters which are still in Bunny I see by the screenshots, where you hold a beauty contest. Both of them included lots of different routes with so lots of different girls. But as I said while reading beauty I never thought oh yep, if I didnt do beach 1st I would have no idea what was going on. I’m still not surprised by Yuuki being the only one, to me I felt she was a big importance in both of the prequels but at the same time you should stick with what you did before. If you are gonna include the other girls anyway you may as well keep giving them their own routes.
I personally didn’t take to Yuuki much in either of those 2 games so its actually off putting it just being her. At the same time though I’m invested dharker studio games and especially this little series of its own so it wont stop me from buying it one day when I realise I’m not winning it before I finish them both again
Honestly I don’t care about cheating at all, it is just not something I would ever do myself. I kinda get the banning for family share, it can be abused so easily. But the game one 1 account and then family share it to a new one every time you get banned. I guess a better way of doing it would be just to take away the ability to family share (that game or all games) from that person and put some limitations for example that limited Steam accounts can’t use it (if that is not a thing yet).
I have seen mentioned that is apparently going to be the last game in the series, which would make it even more reasonable that you can end up with anyone or have any other ending. But I guess they decided its Yuuki or nothing, which is a shame. Oh well, not going to die because of it :D

Were kinda talking about 2 different things when it comes to the family share. Or maybe youre saying the same and I’m confused. But if im sharing killing floor for example and the person I shared it with cheats and gets a vac ban. I also will get a vac ban which I dont think is fair. Of course the info says its possible but again its possible. Why should I get banned for someone else. Im not using that account! I could be no where near that account so why should the sharer be banned from a game. I get just stopping family share for both accounts but vac banning a game like you experienced for no reason is out of order. Maybe its just me who doesnt believe the innocent sharer shouldnt be banned. But hey its valve. Easier just to do everyone then just the one person
I agree with what you said but I am just saying that I understand why they implemented it because otherwise people would just buy the game on one account and then cheat on family share and if they get banned just make a new account and family share the game to it and continue cheating till they get banned again, rise and repeat. That’s why I think blocking sharing after would be a better idea. The owner can still play the game since they didn’t do anything wrong and not being able to family share it doesn’t directly affect them either. Or even better actually: simply don’t allow family share for games with VAC. No way to abuse it, no way for innocent people to get banned due to it, problem solved. But yea Valve… would make too much sense for them.
Yeah they do block sharing from what I saw, they just decided to add in a ban for the game too possibly. If its not that anymore they need to update it all and yeah you are right, not being able to share vac bannable games would be a great idea
Ah I see. I have never family shared games so I am not up to date with what exactly happens, I only know for sure that it results in a VAC ban for both people in CS:GO.

Basically Tripwire went full retard and you should never go full retard. This video explains what happened better than I could explain (fell into the category of people who got banned that don’t even cheat, I was in that group for completely unrelated reasons). All but 2 people are now unbanned.
Nice video, but that has to be the worst and most stupid reason to ban people! They really went all out with the stupidity indeed and I can see you were full of luck to be hit by it.
Also, 9 minutes, 100 achievements. That must be one of the best ratio I’ve seen so far.

Yea, it never ever crossed my mind that I would have ever gotten banned for being in a Steam group… Before we figured out that 17 out of 25 people in the group were banned we guessed that Tripwire messed up and thought the accounts of innocent people were main/alt accounts of the other people, but nope, they were that stupid to go and randomly ban people in the group. I do wonder if they would have unbanned us so easily if the whole thing would not have gone public.
Well you get 10 achievements for every level you finish and at least the first 5 or so levels are so easy that a 5 year old would have solved them in less than 60 seconds, so it is not particularly hard to finish them all in 9 minutes :D
