Without a plan to reduce my backlog for the moment, do you have any suggestions? At this moment, I have finished a 80 h game and now I am going for a couple of short games, in order to reduce the list.
(I thought you meant do you have a suggestions on which games to play next, if not ignore me. haha)
Depending on your definition of short, Tales from the Borderlands is one of my favourite Telltale games (10 hrs long), regardless of how much Borderlands background you have going into it. The Awesome Adventures of Captain Spirit (2 hrs) was an enjoyable freebie as well.
Bastion (6 hrs) or Batman: Arkham Asylum (12) are great if you’re looking for more action and combat with still some fantastic narration.
I will look for your recommendations, especially Bastion, I read a lot of good things about this game. Plus, the duration of the Batman game, really is it only 12 h?
According to hltb the main story is yeah. I played it recently a lil slow doing some bonus things/got stuck on a level for an hour and it took me 18.
advice for plans is to do a challenge me every month.
it is the one thing that consistenly moved my unstarted games down (although I’ve gotten bad about it recently)
Compared to an 80h game everything is going to seem short. :)
As Blue has mentioned, the monthly Challenge Me is usually a good place to start. The current one is ending so keep an eye out for the new one.
Regarding game suggestions - I’ll add a +1 for Bastion and Batman: Arkham games! And I see you haven’t played Life Is Strange (14 hours) yet. By the way, that’s a nice high quality Steam library you have there! Good to see quality being emphasised over quantity.

Otherwise there is this ABC Challenge. I also created a batch (see rules on my profile), but I’m hardly making progress with both, since I’m taking part in a few SG playing groups. If that’s something for you: Check out the “Play a game you won on SG” thing - I have zero wins open, so I basically take part with all my games - or maybe “Play or Pay”, where ppl pick 7 games for you to play in 3 months :)

Oh welcome. No advice here barely know how to reduce it myself especially of late. Well done on completing that long which I just snooped on and seems interesting but on my ignored list apparently. Best advice is to just do 1 long game and play it with a couple of short, that way you arent just left with a bunch of long games
