Update 147: July 2025

My bday came and went and my backlog suffered, the poor thing, but hey at least I did not buy stuff during sale ^_^

Half-Life 2

Tinytopia

6.5/10

Tinytopia is a fun and quirky little city-builder that’s surprisingly addictive at first. Stacking buildings and creating bigger combos feels clever and satisfying, and the toy-like charm is great. But after a while, the fun starts to fade — some levels feel downright insane in difficulty (who thought building on a bike pedal, turn table or tight rope was a good idea) , and the building placement can be frustrating. Lining things up just right to make larger structures often feels more broken than rewarding. It’s still enjoyable for a while, but the rough edges keep it from being as good as it could be.

Pixel Puzzles Mosaics

Pretty fun overall and a nice way to kill time. Most of the puzzles are relaxing and enjoyable, but some of the pictures were just horrible to solve and felt more frustrating than anything else. Still worth it if you like puzzle games.

Half-Life 2

DARK SOULS™: REMASTERED

7/10

Enjoyed it, even if the constant dying can definitely get on your nerves — but that’s kind of the whole point with Dark Souls. The challenge is tough but fair, and finally overcoming an area or boss feels good. A frustrating but rewarding experience.

Half-Life 2

Fun little puzzle game that I really enjoyed. The puzzles are clever enough to keep you thinking without being overly frustrating. It’s a nice, relaxing experience overall and worth checking out if you’re into puzzle games.

Really fun game, kind of like Overcooked but with fixing cars instead of cooking. It’s chaotic in the best way, can't really say much about coop since I did not play it in coop

Half-Life 2

Saint Maker

Interesting little visual novel with a creepy atmosphere. I really loved that it was fully voice acted, and the quality was surprisingly good. Definitely worth a read if you’re into VNs.

Here are the games I'm currently working on. Reviews will follow once I'm done with the games:
I've won 8 games. And got gifted 8 games and 1 DLC, thanks to Moony, Cece, Nin, Mouse and Sallachim. I've beaten 6 games, and 3 DLC's so that makes a total of +10 for the month of July. So my yearly count is at +32 games. I did beat Dark Souls, so my count on beaten old games is still at +5 for the year. Need to beat some more old games.

Ohhh, Outer Wilds. I get excited every time I see someone who hasn’t played it yet but has the opportunity. One of those experiences I wish I could re-create, it’s so so so good. Enjoy it when it eventually lands on your playlist :)

I’m pretty sure I will. Had it on my WL for quite some time
