very slowly chipping away at it.

The Turkish Steam store will be using USD starting from November 20th, and so I bought a few games just in case. They were on sale or rather affordable at their current prices, which I don’t expect to be the case once the prices are converted to USD (even thought they will be regional still, from what I understand).

I bought Dawn of a Soul to support to developer, since they announced that their game will be going free and I had enjoyed their other game, Move n Bloom.

Wandering Village was a gift from a friend.

Amitte

Hello, my Coloring Pixels friend! How have you been? :D

aonrao

Hello hello! Super busy & surviving, how are you? :D I see that you’re upto date with Coloring Pixels as always, and I’m amazed

Amitte

Thankfully not busy anymore, but then again, in a sort of transitional period - need to find a job. Other than that, I’m good!

you’re up to date with Coloring Pixels as always

Haha, yeah, I love that game. Really though, I think it’s just a matter of the stars having aligned - I feel that same way towards people who have put hundreds, if not thousands of hours into Pixel Puzzles Ultimate - I feel like I’ve signed some kind of pact with the devil by adding it to my library!

aonrao

Do you know what kind of job you want to do?
I’ll have to look for a full-time job once I finish my master’s degree (hopefully this summer) and I’m not looking forward to that. :/ Good luck with your job hunt!

I’ve accepted that I’ll never be upto date with Coloring Pixels. Even if they stopped adding new content, it’s just not happening. PPU is another kind of insanity - I’m staying away to keep myself sane tbh.

Amitte

I honestly can’t tell if I should be looking for one that’s in line with my education or not - got my bachelor’s this year, but I’m also considering going for a master’s next year… either way, thank you! And same to you! We’ll get through it!

PPU is another kind of insanity - I’m staying away to keep myself sane tbh.

Believe me, I tried to do the same when they released their other two big games, which magically found themselves in my library… but then they just kept coming back! So I haven’t touched them, but they’re still sitting there… waiting…

aonrao

Hopefully! Job hunt is always difficult and I’m extremely stressed about it.

Oh I didn’t realize they had other games - what are they? Puzzle games again or another thing? I feel like my Steam library has space only for 1 big game and Coloring Pixels is occupying that slot

Amitte

Oh I didn’t realize they had other games - what are they? Puzzle games again or another thing?

Yep, besides DLCs for Ultimate and a bunch of other, smaller games (most of which also double as Ultimate DLCs), at some point I realized games subtitled “Illustrations & Anime” and “Traditional Jigsaws” found their way into my library… they’re not nearly as big as Ultimate yet, but, like… I didn’t want them! And now I can’t get rid of them >.>

I feel like my Steam library has space only for 1 big game and Coloring Pixels is occupying that slot

I totally get that. I’m lucky to be on top of Coloring Pixels DLC, but I’ve had a few other casual games going on at the same time and let me tell you… completing a regular, long-ass game is one thing, but nothing beats the feeling of having beaten a long casual game.

aonrao

Good luck with playing them!

Yeah.. I don’t think I’ll ever know how it feels to complete a big casual game :P I just don’t have the patience to do that. But I’m always impressed with how upto-date you are with CP!

Amitte

I just don’t have the patience to do that.

I’d say it’s not about patience… whether it’s coloring, solitaire, mahjong, sudoku, picross or whatever else it is you’re into, you’re presumably doing the same thing over and over again, so… no rush! Just do it at your own pace and eventually, it’ll be done :D

But I’m always impressed with how upto-date you are with CP!

I think it’s the one game I’m compelled to work on whenever they release new images ^^ You can’t tell how glad I am that the exclusive DLC they’re going to release in celebration of their new game coming out isn’t going to have any achievements… that one could have ruffled some feathers. (Including mine - I’ve been playing since 2018, but I just don’t have, like, $35 or whatever the Kickstarter tier for that perk was…)

Zelrune

Congratulations on all of your assassinations! You’ve been busy! Best of luck and I am looking forward to your review of The Wandering Village, I’ve seen a bit of it but I’m not quite convinced to buy it just yet.

aonrao

Haha thank you. I wish there were actual assassinations and not just attempts.
I’ll see once I get to playing The Wandering Village! I’m currently too obsessed with APICO and Ooblets to consider other games.

Zelrune

I don’t think it’s possible to 100% coloring pixels so any attempt and progress at it is a huge wing.

aonrao

You should see Amitte’s progress then! They’re always on top of it. haha

But I agree with you, it’s near-impossible :P I don’t think I’ll ever even attempt getting there. My curreng Coloring Pixels goal is to finish the free books/images they added, and then finish the books I bought before buying more.

Jekofob

I’ve hard coloring pixels in my library for a long time. Just had a look and saw all those cute achievements (I collect cat achievements) so I did my first pixel to get one… thanks for reminding me to look there :D

aonrao

What do you mean by cat achievements? :D

Jekofob

All the achievements we get for doing the drawings (can use for lookups) I found out a couple of those are cats :)
