An alright month, decent amount of games beaten - not a great amount, but not trash either

Finally jumped into Peak properly, with my sister of course, although she has "studies" or whatever, so we haven't been able to make more progress. Other than that, i just put more train time into Binding of Isaac (plus some home time)

New additions are just wishlist buys (caught the price glitch for SteamWorld Heist 2, woo), plus one SG win

For next month, i've got one last PoP pick, and i should really sit down and beat the Restless Spirit in ESA. Other than that, i'm at a bit of a loss for new games to start.. if anyone feels like trawling through my untouched games and giving me some suggestions, i'd appreciate it

Hope everyone's holiday time is good, in games or otherwise

I looked at your untouched games and noticed you have Fallout. Give it a try, I’d say. It’s old but still plays remarkably well in my experience. If you can make it to Junktown and is still enjoying the game, means its for you. It’s a classic so I’d say, go for it or at least try it!

Oof Fallout is quite intimidating. I’ll add it to my rotation, and try and get it running, but i’m making no promises.
I’ve heard it’s a very important game, in an influential sense, so i really should put in the time at some point

fernandopa

Yeah, by all means take it easy. It’s an old game and some design sensibilities have really changed over time, but I was surprised at how playable it still was when I tackled it in 2021. The franchise grew to monstruous proportions but it’s always fascinating to see how it all started, and it’s an extremely good game in it’s own right.

Junktown should be 2-3 hours into the experience, and if the game hasn’t hooked you at that point, it’s likely it never will. So you can know quite early if it’s a game to stick with or to drop altogether :)

recommending turnip boy as solo game and trine 4 and unravel two(this one if you don’t care about 100% achievement as they are a pain) for co-op games from your untouched

OC/DC

Turnip Boy looks like a short fun time, i’ll add it. The co-op ones need me to sort out my co-op situation here, so i might have to leave them out, but i’ll see what i can do

Congratulations on your assassinations!!! ᓚᘏᗢ
For untouched games recommendations, I’ll point out a few I played and liked! I’ve reviewed all of them, but two are outdated.

Call of The Sea (5-7+ hours) - Nora Everheart sails to find her missing husband, who was searching for a way to cure Nora’s genetic illness.

Coromon (25-50+ hours) - Fun Mon game with lots of quality of life updates and fun battles + storyline, I did a Nuzlock run.

Pumpkin Jack (6+ hours) - Fun platforming as the Pumpkin King.

All good choices, thank you. The Mon itch has been creeping up on me in recent times, so maybe i should just scratch it lol
