OMG! I missed one collectable the first time round -.-
Well I remember a time when I had no idea about collectibles and just played… and had to replay it. So yeah, back to replaying obv :D
I actually liked the pure Detective part. First time I got confused with this one, was when we had the magic battle, which seem to be a more common thing nowadays in AM HOGs? Maybe it's just me and the ones I've played recently. Honestly, it's bugging me a bit. But then I didn't expect it to be a game about the dead and ghost. So it's probably fair to do the magic battle thingy, since we are already down the spiritual way.
I miss the AM lady! It's so sad! She used to be in every game and now… she isn't! What happened to you, AM lady?!? cries
No honestly, what happened with her?
Also I totally creeped out once I played the bonus chapter and saved the ladies. Once you are back in the physical world, they come up to hug you, but it looks more like Zombies swaying your way. Yeah, thank you. Obv too many Ghosts in this one xD

Ok, can we now start?
I just now finished the game (and feel like it's probably to early to write about it, but I want to, so I do) and watched a yt vid about the ending right away, since I was confused as fu** o.o
This game is the most complex out of all the Bioshock games. Although I rly can't say how it even fits in with the other two games. Well apart from the obv start with the lighthouse. And the powers. And at the end as we are suddenly underwater in - gosh, can't think of the underwater cities name. Well and yes, Songbird. I figured pretty soon he might be the Big Daddy of the game, although "big" seems to be an understatement. He's not big, he is immense! So yeah, that rly are the only things connected to the previous two games. Oh, and the mindfuck - which rly wasn't there in the second game. But here it is. It's back! Bioshock Infinite gives you a mindfuck. And I'm still trying to recover from it. Am I happy with the end? Not rly. Although watching the video things made sense, but… they still don't. Remember how you hear a note every time Elizabeth vanishes at the end? Yeah, as far as I get it even the last one - our - Elizabeth disappears. This was actually the point where I got confused and looked into shit. Oh, and the Comstock thing. Yeah, there are hints all over, like how Comstock fought in Wounded Knee and the Boxer Rebellion, but Slate who was there claims Comstock never was, but Booker tells Elizabeth he was. First hint. But let's be fair, at that point in the story one can't possible guess that, right? Still, drowning Brooker and thereby prevent Comstock to ever be, it seemed to me as if it's not the possible baptising, but the whole Booker life. So in the end it's a suicide. Bc there can never be Elizabeth - which is obvious - but Anna can't be either - because when there is no Booker, there can't be Anna, right? So for me the story ended at the point where Booker was willing to change it. Bc the Booker we play never turned into Comstock, so when he chooses to do the Baptism and with that the drowning, it's over. Finite. End. One way it's probably the only way to deal with it. But then again it even makes the game impossible, bc it could never have happened to start with. It's just as the Lutece constantly debate over: is it, was it or is it something that could be or maybe not?
Is any of it real, if it's not happening, bc it was prevented from happening, bc the alternative is just horrible? So in a way the game just tells us how much it is a game, right? It just shoves in our face how it is not real and purely a thought experiment. Or in short: A game. Decide where you go and see what happens. And in the end you'll just reset the whole thing by eleminating it from the start.
