A few more games down \0/

Puzzle Agent 2: ( beaten)

Well, after playing Puzzle Agent I just couldn’t help myself playing through #2 too, for the sake of the story, mainly, because the ending was way to open… I kinda like closure in my games, ya know?

Anyways, Agent Tethers had the same problem as I had; his investigation was completed and he was called back, but he also had the feeling something wasn’t quite right, so he decided to go back to Soggins for his ‘vacation’ and try to find closure that way,

I enjoyed it, though I got through the first puzzle agent in like an evening, this one took me 1 week or so because I kept spreading it out, doing other stuff, etc. etc.

But, yay! Puzzle Agent beaten!

Winter Sale (formerly known as Summer Sale.) (completed)

Why? I… Just couldn’t help myself; can’t wait for the Winter Sale so figured I might as well buy a simulated version of it. :’)
Not a lot you can say about this, it’s just earn money, buy games, buy more games.

Toki Tori

It’s a charming little puzzle platformer. It’s been in my library for years but somehow never gotten around to playing it… I noticed it can be used for the winter theme, so my curiosity rose. :)

tokitori
You’re a yellow bird, and the goal is to collect all the eggs in a level. Easy enough, right? The catch is: You can’t jump. Or fly. Or swim. Instead, you unlock abilities which have a limited move in a level. For example: Teleporting through walls or building bridges.

It’s fun, and I’m enjoying it while waiting around and stuff. :)

Dust: An Elysian Tail.

Wow, can’t believe I never bothered to play this before. It looks SO amazingly beatifull, and it’s just a LOT of fun!
The downside is, for some reason I can’t take screenshots of the game: The steam button just gives no respone, and regular screenshots turn out white. :(

AC: Revelations.

I’m still slowly playing through this, in phases: I love Ezio, and I just wants to know what happens with Desmond and Ezio… Yet sometimes I just get a bit annoyed of it (-cough- stalking mission -cough-) turn it off, do something else, go back to it… I will beat it, someday!

Winter Voices

Well, haven’t touched it since the last update and I barely remember it… Thinking about throwing it to the abandoned pile, because it simply can’t seem to capture my attention

Spitfyr

If you like Dust: An Elysian Tail you may have a look at Guacamelee. This game is also a so called Metroidvania and in my opinion even better than Dust.

Thanks! And it seems like that happens to be one of the things HB gave away today in their little 30 day calendar :).

I’m a sucker for 2d platformers (3d too, but physics seems to get wonky in a lot of games) but I especially loved the combo between the puzzles, story, and the pretty music/graphics. <3

Adelion

Toki Tori can be used for the Winter theme? Hm, maybe I should finally retry those last missing hard levels … then again I lost all progress for that game over a year ago so I would have to redo everything. And those hard levels are actually pretty hard. And I don’t want to use guides as it defeats the purpose of this game -_-

Yindy

Yikes, I can see why restarting a semi-finished game would suck; I’ve got the same problem with a few.
But, ye, Toki Tori 1 was on the list, which seemed a good reason to install it. :)

Douglas

I have Puzzle Agent in my backlog (who knows where I got it) and you kinda convinced me to give it a shot… I’m just curious to see his investigation and how it ends ;P
Ohh, I hope you finish AC: Revelations one day… AC franchise ended in this game in my opinion… Played AC III only because it was in my backlog, but now, I even don’t know what happened or what AC games we have out there ;p
Revelations is in my opinion, the best one with Ezio, even though I still prefer Altair over any assassin :D
Congratulations with you progress \o

I tried AC1 a couple of years ago on the PS3, for some reason I had trouble getting into it (To much of the same + knowing me, I most likely got lost… Seeing I tend to get lost a LOT.) though I’m kinda curious still about Altaïrs adventure: Revelations does give some background info, but maybe, someday :)

I’ve been also randomly messing around in AC4, but to be honest that might just be because I like the tropical setting and just sailing around with my ship.

You should definately give Puzzle Agent a fair chance: They’re relatively short, and the story is, well, surprising.

Douglas

I hope to read your thoughts about AC1 someday :3 - Altaïr’s story is the best in my opinion, then Ezio and… I don’t care about Connor D: AC died in AC III to me, and sailing was one of the reasons ;( Just did those missions because were necessary to keep playing. Is sad they just made one game with Altaïr, because he has much more story than only what they told to us (for what I could notice reading the book) :D

I’ll keep Puzzle Agent in mind and give it a try… you made me curious to know the story, again ;p
